They are the ancestors of the Eleatics, the people that eventually settled in Velia, Italy. I highly recommend the book In The Dark Places of Wisdom, by Peter Kingsley. He talks it about them, who they were and then the teachings they left for us.

No not at all. Did you know some animals don't age?

@@MartinFaulks There are about 0.001% of mammals that do not have age related decline, as humans in the garden variety type do. Though that is not 'growing young' or reversing aging, it is a natural park of their own life cycle. A type of shark does that. The white mole, as far as I understand, is the only land mammal that regenerates its own DNA and has no age related decline. Which is also not 'growing young'. Their life cycle means, they grow to a point and then do not essentially alter at all. They still die. They also do not 'grow young'. Humans have different individual metabolism, biology so age in different ways, with also commonalties. It seems that human beings socially, anthropologically, historically, have been very messed up for many 1000s of years so create many modalities and ideas, beliefs, so as to try and escape the mess. 'de-aging' seems to be one of them. It would be more productive *(but maybe less dopamine excitement) if human modalities, societies, were more into understanding more about themselves and the chaotic unpleasant histories, rather than escapism. Telling a mentally fragile person, or inducing a belief "you can de-age" can just fuel or trigger future mental health problems, rather than some tangible, practical actions, such as understanding flawed thought processes, which is more of a priority. Otherwise, should we have a future where 200 year olds are teenagers but with the mentality and reasoning skills of a Californian/Pol Pot? It is easy to dress up and project fantastical wow ideas, of course it is a wow title but with what tangible substance. Same reason Kings dress up ideas ( themselves ) for the plebs wow factor - but to what betterment? Bardon looks like a man into his 50s, who maybe enjoyed some roast dinners. I think, de junking the human mind, is much more of a priority.
