HID bulb was 6-7 years old or older. No way a fair comparison but hey if you’re trying to sale LEDs that’s what you do. That pattern of cutoff is very sloppy also.

@PrecisionLED I know this was 6 years ago. But I’m sure u guys know the better high quality and much better design of the led bulbs. The box between led bulb and the connector is not a ballast. A ballast belongs to HID. On led bulb, it’s an external driver for heat management and longevity. And those two sided led is correct, but the not the led diodes themselves. Because a square led with a bubble that creates an optic that focus the light. Those never work. A thin body two sided led, with tiny 3 inline led chips like CSP, ZES, and SMD led chips work alot better and perform better to mimic the same beam pattern as oem. I’m sure u guys already know that by now, as led technology evolves very fast and much more precise, precision, efficiency, and performance as well. I never had those type of led bulbs and I’m glad I did not start as a bad start. I start get into led and Lasfit is my first one. The 4th gen Lasfit - LD plus switchback is the one I run and it’s purely well made, very handy for 6000k white and 3000k yellow for weather conditions.

My dome lights innmy 2011 rave 4 are not this style, the are the fuse style double ended ones... hopefully the light cover can be removed the same way though

I have a 2018 Prius Prime, but my backup lights are different. The backup bulb is at the very bottom. Is the bulb replacement the same?

Have these laws been changed/upgraded at all since this video? I mean, I have a 2018 Mazda 3 and the standard headlights are extremely poor. I'm talkin you can't see things more than 5ft in front of you, which is an exaggeration but you get my point. Now when you're talkin about LED bulbs, a crap-ton of new vehicles (including other Mazda 3 of the same year as mine) come from the factory with LED/HID headlights. I'm constantly getting blinded and assaulted by these FACTORY lights, especially in pick-up trucks (Fords are REALLY bad). My car is fairly low to the ground and the headlights cut off at about the same height as a pick-up truck's bumper. So is a cop really going to have a problem with me changing out my bulbs for something brighter, when we've got vehicles straight from the factory blinding the hell out of people?

What does it mean if you install LEDS and the left light doesn’t come on when turned on but when pressing unlock on the key fob it comes on as if nothings wrong… just curious because I just uninstalled a set of leds for this reason

Watching this video in 2024 noticed that the US model Honda CR V has rounded fog lamps. Could those rectangle fog lamps be ordered on eBay?

I have an european ford focus mk3 2016. So the low beam in mine is H7 and the high beam is H15. This does not work if you have same as me. In order to fit LED make sure to either get an adapter to hold the light in place ( for the low beam H7 ) or that the LED comes with one ( not likely )

Though I am a little bit outdated from the day you made this video [2024 today] I can comment saying well done. I own maybe one of the last made Xtrail of this model. Made on 12th month of 2020, produced in Japan. The car came with all possible extras everywhere 😊 But those few bulbs were still the same since 2014 that model first made! I changed them into LEDs

I had to replace both headlight assemblies because of the degradation of the silver reflection film behind the head lights. I noticed recently that the lights which illuminate the the yellow lights behind the headlights are not working. Any idea why that might be? Thank you.
