Can the LPPC v2 plate bags accommodate plates WITH trauma pads, or is there only room for plates with flat med kits? Thanks for the video.

Does the ak insert have anything from keeping the locking tabs from snagging? (For example hugo and shaw inserts). Or are they just elastic?

@@isaaclozier8286 they’re elastic and spaced so they index well. We spent a great deal of time sizing testing sizing testing. We tend to prefer the elastics for a multitude of reasons but if you’re a kydex subscriber sadly we don’t offer it.

I bought a set with various mag options here in Canada (order# AT3950) to run a variety of magazine types: .308 for a K&M M17S, AK for the Bren 2, SMG for a B&T TP9, and, finally, 4x 5.56 mags for a few different guns. Overall I quite like the flexibility of different magazine options not typically seen, like my Haley Strategic 3x magazine placard. ...Granted they are typically 5 round mags due to stupid laws here, but it is a treat not own various placards on different configurations just to maintain seperate builds. My only criticism, which is why I haven't posted a review yet as I try to work out the kinks, is that I wish there was either a way to implement a retention clip in the magazine bands or a plasticard husk for a better lack of a term - like in the LOF Defence magazine pouch. I understand loading the mags in the band prior to loading the pouch, but I would like to have a quicker time loading the magazine back on the carrier after it is assembled. See the prior note regarding 5-round magazines. 😅 As it stands, I will probably purchase identical pouches for the independent magazine bands anyways and simply make the front admin pouch retain essential gear for a particular build. All the while trying to create a plasticard solution to facilitate faster magazine reloading.

Great post. We have seen several great options from other companies in that regard eluding to retention as you mentioned however, we don't want to simply copy those. Until we come up with a better mouse trap, we will recommend running the Haley inserts or something similar. Having been in kit while serving in a professional capacity I prefered not having the kydex, having things that were less rigid etc. The elastic was just enough retention without being sticky or too tight. With weather changes, condition changes the elastic just works and reindexing (if you have the magazines loaded when you set the velcro) is still easy. We also like the elastic versus kydex style for battlefield acquisitions if you will. Radios, knives, small firearms etc can be stuffed down when you need your hands if the dump pouch isn't utilized.

Love the idea, just curious as to why you all chose to put unvented chest seals in it? I would rather pay a few bucks more for the HyFin vent compact seals because that would be the first thing replaced after purchase

@@RowFasterFishing123 just the direction we took based on people’s experience and training. That’s why we offer the pouch solo or with inserts. Anyone with training would be able to use the tab and vent it themselves.

@@AcetacGear I was mainly asking due to some departments, including my own, that only approve certain items/brands to be used in self provided trauma kits. Tourniquet and hemostatic gauze in the kit are approved, the chest seals are the only kink as we are only approved NAR or Halo and are required to be vented. I would be fine with this riding on my kit on the range or in my car off duty because I don’t doubt the effectiveness of everything provided. I have enough training to be able to use it effectively. Just the above was my reason for asking. I will still pick one up and just swap the seals.

I just added one to my second truck box. It will ride there atleast thru the elections and their aftermath. My gunbelt is more pistol centric although it does have two rifle mag pouches but the chest rig pluses up the rifle mags and adds significant medical. I am not quite ready to wear plates or even my second chance soft armor every day but the chest rig in the truck seems to me like a fairly low vis common sense approach.

Sadly I don’t see us doing that. People are tending to stick with the kit that has options readily available. We are open to collaborations with companies but to stock everything we offer in every cool pattern we would have ungodly amounts of inventory.

Can someone help me resolve my issue? I have a HHV Gen 2 + their pop in adapter and Walker Razors. I upgraded the pads which are supposed to have a better seal over ears in addition to added comfort. My problem is that they do not seal completely over my ears and do not provide ample hearing protection, especially at the lower ends. I push them in as far as I can and have no idea how to make them fit over my ears any better. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
