When you are clocking your speed, are you going by your actual speed or the speed on your speedometer? My speedometer wasn't calibrated by the previous owner with 37" tires.

The first nut on the tank strap broke and attempting to drop it wasn't even a choice after that. I'll I did was cut the carpet to save more time and angle grinded the cut it and just banged it back in place. It did not look this pretty lol. If your transfer case is still stuck in 4WD high (4HI), there are several potential other causes. Here are some of the most common ones: 1. Transfer Case Motor Failure: The transfer case motor (also known as the actuator) is responsible for shifting the transfer case between different modes (2HI, 4HI, 4LO). If this motor fails or is stuck, it can prevent the transfer case from shifting out of 4HI. 2. Faulty Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM): The TCCM is the electronic brain that controls the transfer case operations. If this module fails, it can send incorrect signals or fail to send any signal to the transfer case motor, causing it to get stuck in 4HI. 3. Wiring or Electrical Issues: Problems with the wiring or electrical connections to the transfer case motor or TCCM can prevent the system from operating correctly. This could be due to damaged wires, corroded connectors, or blown fuses. 4. Shift Linkage Problems: If your Tahoe has a manual shift linkage (as opposed to an electronic system), issues with the linkage itself, such as being bent or stuck, can prevent the transfer case from shifting out of 4HI. 5. Mechanical Issues Inside the Transfer Case: Internal mechanical problems, such as worn gears, broken shift forks, or other damaged components inside the transfer case, can also cause it to be stuck in 4HI. 6. Low Fluid Levels or Contaminated Fluid: If the fluid level in the transfer case is low or the fluid is dirty/contaminated, it can cause the internal components to malfunction, potentially leading to it being stuck in a particular mode. 7. Dashboard Switch Issues: If your Tahoe has a dashboard switch to change between 2HI, 4HI, and 4LO, a problem with this switch (such as a bad connection or faulty switch) can prevent proper shifting. Troubleshooting Steps: 1. Check Fuses: Inspect the fuses related to the transfer case and 4WD system to ensure none are blown. 2. Inspect Electrical Connections: Look at the wiring and connectors to the transfer case motor and TCCM for any signs of damage or corrosion. 3. Listen for Motor Operation: When you try to shift out of 4HI, listen for any sounds from the transfer case motor. If you don’t hear anything, the motor might be faulty. 4. Scan for Trouble Codes: Use an OBD-II scanner to check for any error codes that could indicate what part of the system is malfunctioning. 5. Check Transfer Case Fluid: Verify that the fluid in the transfer case is at the correct level and in good condition. Change the fluid if necessary. 6. Inspect Shift Linkage: If applicable, examine the shift linkage for any signs of binding or damage. Depending on your findings, you may be able to address some of these issues yourself, but others might require professional assistance, particularly if internal transfer case repairs or module replacements are needed.

I owned two of these. I gave them away for free and I regret placing the recipients of them in danger. These dollies are dangerous. In principle, they're a good idea, especially to conserve garage space. In practice, the HF design has critical flaws. I wrote an honest review on the HF website and they deleted it. The first flaw is that the casters are too small in diameter. One of my motorcycles weighs well over 700 pounds. When loaded on the dolly, the smallest debris or concrete gap will stop the dolly. You have to be very careful pushing the bike to avoid tipping it to get it moving. Unless the garage floor is very smooth, this thing is both scary and cumbersome to move. The second flaw: the material is structurally marginal. The kickstand platform developed a crater and you can feel the platform bend under the weight of the motorcycle. The bike sways as you push it. Also, and third, the kickstand location barely accommodated the kickstand location on one of my motorcycles. The kickstand just barely fit on the pad. Additional side stand mounting options could easily be included. These flaws are tolerable. Worst: the brakes designed to keep the dolly from moving as you ride the motorcycle onto the dolly are extremely dangerous. When you ride your motorcycle onto this dolly it needs to be immobilized. If the dolly moves while you're driving onto it you can get hurt. Think about it. If you can just flat-foot your bike on the street, when you roll up on the dolly, your feet are elevated an additional 2 inches. When that dolly starts rolling under you because of the defective brake design, you've got to get your feet down to stop the dolly and your bike. That is hazardous, especially since the dolly can move sideways. I dropped my 700 pound bike on a fully restored 68 Roadrunner because I trusted this dolly. My martial arts training prevented me from serious injury. I gave those dollies away after that. I think this product can be useful and safer if you have a smaller, lighter motorcycle. I also think it can be substantially improved. I would begin by having a design that lays flat on the ground for loading with bottle jacks, or worm screws to elevate it for moving it around. Larger wheels would also help. This is a good video to introduce the product, but anyone buying it needs low deductible, paid-up bike and health insurance.
