Love my resmed,there's alot to learn ,I definitely can tell the difference just have to be patient, when I get to a .8 my OCD kicks in and I ask myself ok we need it back down to a .2 then I feel like a Rockstar

I’m just getting mine next week. I’m so lost right now. especially using the mask. Had so many bad experiences using a cpap. Now I’m having to go back to one again. I can’t even get a decent answer from my sleep doctor on my results. Just tells me I’m sleeping at 70% . What the hell does that mean? But he says if i stay the course my health will improve dramatically. I’m 62 yrs old male. If that helps.

While it's important to manage expectations with reality, I believe using a CPAP machine can help you get a good night's sleep if everything is set up correctly.

Before I was diagnosed with sleep apnea I realised that I had a problem and asked my dokter for a Ritalin prescription. When I had to do a long drive I would take 10mg the moment I felt that I may fall asleep, this works much better than caffeine drinks because it does not make you jittery but keeps you alert and focused.

Does high BP from sleep apnea drive higher BP in the morning as a result of the sleep time strain? I am medicated for BP and run low after dinner and high in the morning. I was diagnosed with borderline severe apnea prior to taking BP meds, but I didn't want the darth vader mask. I believe I caused high BP and now atherosclerosis. I am about to fix all this @ 55.

I have the resmed F30i and I am experiencing severe dry mouth as I do sleep with my mouth open and cannot sleep with it closed. What can I do to help correct the dry mouth? I turned up the humidity to 80 and I am still experiencing dry mouth

My main issue when using these hybrid and full face masks are they push my face in and cause me to open my mouth the whole night. I beleive i dont have the straps on that tight, if they need to be looser i will get leakage. My prescription is 9cm if that makes a difference and am a side sleeper

Hey good on you for mentioning to just use the machine even without distilled. I live in a rural area and didn't have distilled for a few days but just went for it and started getting the benefits immediately, just took an extra few seconds of washing before switching to distilled.

I don’t see any recent reviews or comments newer than four months. I have written glowing reviews on both Dreamports and the Halo Eclipse but I wish I could delete them. I am ready to give up on the halos entirely due to lack of adhesion. As moisture reaches the edge of the tape, the halos come loose. I am well acquainted with proper preparation, but I rarely get through the night without the halos slipping. . I t believe that the adhesive is different from the dream port. I have spoken with Steve H about the 3M factory fire and as I feared, the adhesive strength is greatly reduced. Waterproof tape is the only way I believe the halos will stay on. I would appreciate seeing this issue addressed before I seek out Inspire surgery.

Is the nasal cushion N30 for ResMed aírense compatible with the N30 nasal cushion for air mini?

I have a lot of leak with Brevida, no matter how tight I make it. And I've tried both Small and Large pillows. Definitely soft and comfortable pillow though

There IS a smooth side and a rough side to the air filters. Are you sure it doesn’t matter which side is facing out?

This is the BEST mask I have ever had! I could tell within 10 minutes of putting it on. Super comfortable with 0 LEAKS! Wow! Very well engineered. Comfort is unsurpassed. Very quiet. Perfect. And NO MASK LINES like I had ever night from the N30

I think this is only a question that an uninformed person that is not monitoring their treatment would ask : if you know what your AHI is at present and monitor your blood oxygen levels while you sleep and they appear to have become normal, yes maybe but you would still have to monitor yourself form time to time to be sure. In my case my AHI were 36, my blood oxygen went as low as 67% when I slept and I hardly slept 4 hours a night......I never want to go back to that!

The P10 blows cold air out the front which hits the pillows and comes back up onto your cheeks. Very annoying.

Just started 5 days ago with N20, and it's going well so far. Getting great scores in the app, but wishing I will sleep through an entire night yet. But summer heat may play into thay as well.

We have a new machine and when everything is connected, we get a message that there is a high air leak and to connect the tubing. Have done this several times and get the same message. Any suggestions?
