Hey just found your channel... LOVE your stuff! I was hoping you could point me in the right direction for the continuity of your character when moving scenes. Falling, jumping, walking, all gets continued on the other side and that's amazing. Haven't found a good tutorial for that yet. Any tips are appreciated!

Why doesn't GL_Line work? I keep reading that Bresenhams algorythm is implemented on every graphics card, but whenever I try to remder lines with Gl_line, it draws a line, but with doubles in some places..

Pixel are where the pixels interact with the game world is actually brilliant. You get hit and where you get hit there's some blood, then a bruise, then just exposed skin. So cute

I've always found texture files to look like Picasso's paintings. That being said, I've always forund Picasso's paintings to look disgusting and breaking, like the point of view of a deranged man. I never thought of applying texture files tech to a pixel art.

Just you know, I can not access the steam store page of your game anymore. It is not available in my region since your game has no age rating atm. This leads valve to not show your title for german users due to some agreements with german agencies. Some policies has changed around the 15th of November and I only found out now.

Astortion (along with lots of other games) got delisted in Germany due to not having an age rating. Stupid regulations :(

If you're using the shader file in this video for a 2D side-scroller, it will have issues with normal rotation and unexpected sprite map translucency. If anybody needs help, u can contact me.

Can't understand a single word, unfortunately. I wonder why non-natives insist on articulating thoughts in the English language when they evidently do such a poor job.

@PAttah-d1c2 ай бұрын
@@Zly_u Not really. I speak proper English, pronouncing words how they are meant to be pronounced. I don't mince and destroy words with some kind of Eastern European accent... Your turn of phrase is also somewhat awkward. It should read "I'm not a native speaker, yet I can understand everything he says perfectly."

Whatever you do Jacob don’t ever give up on this project! However long it’ll take you can do it! Your pixel art is beautiful and I know personally how difficult it is to make it flow so naturally as you do! I’m not sure how you feel about this project anymore - I have a few that I’ve started and never finished too cause I just got bored. So, I understand if you’re feeling that too. Take as much time as you need. Maybe start something new - you have grown so much as a game developer since you first envisioned this game. You can use those skills for another project and then come back to this one whenever you’re feeling like it. You got something special and I’m really looking forward to seeing what you can do. Honestly, you’ve inspired me a lot and you got me into pixel art plus game development too! Thanks Jacob :)
