I have a new e bike. Have had it for like 3 months. This worked for a while. Now I'll take it out to ride and they continue to go out. Are there adjustments I can make on the actual brakes on the wheels to prevent this?

Its possible that the bolts that hold the brake cables are not tight enough and causing the lines to loosen up. Double check all your brake cable bolts that connect to the caliper end.

You want to shift while peddling gently and allowing your chain to be fully in gear before going hard.

So basically once you pull out more it should tighten correct? I did that but noticed only back brake barely tightened and front was not doing nothing, as I look down on my kids ebike I see brake pads worn down to basically metal so no wonder why I wasn't feeling any contact. That's for informative vid and can you tell me is there a bug difference between disc vs hydraulic brakes? Like I think I want to replace with hydraulic
@FrankiesWorld
@FrankiesWorld 5 ай бұрын
When you adjust one cable lever it adjusts one brake caliper. The front and rear have independent cables that's why only one adjusts. This video is for mechanical brakes only, hydraulic is more complex. If the pads are worn to almost metal, time to replace the pads. I have another video on my channel that shows the full brake adjustment if you have to adjust from the caliper which you will have to do once you cant adjust from the handlebar lever anymore.
