I don't know if you know this or not, but horseradish can be very toxic if you eat too much of it. Be careful!

Thanks for the video, 2 questions, is there any concern about pollution in the sea water or does the boiling kill all that? And could you put it on greaseproof paper in the oven? Cheers.

I started my mealworm farm with the screen method. So glad your saying it works. Started seeing where people were saying it didn’t work. I’m just trying to have enough to feed my 4 chickens 2 to 3 times a week

Just finished making this! I waited the two years too! Gosh that was hard, lol! I blended it in my magic bullet outside with a very strong wind! I waited 15 minutes before adding the vinegar with a pinch of salt and oh my! It actually tastes like amazing horseradish! Why am I so surprised!! It is extremely satisfying to grow something and then make it into something eatable and so very tasty!!! I love my wee tiny garden! Thank you for this tutorial! Nov 18, 2024.

Is it all same with other meats? Is there a way to do it without plastic covers? How about people don't have cellars. Where should they hang it?

Might have been better to have shown them cooking on some sort of hot plate outside on a fire, perhaps using fallen wood from your trees instead of an electric hob! That way, there's no carbon footprint-a true 'Lovin Off The Land' approach. Keep up the good work.

I grew jalopenas for many years. One year, I dug them out of the ground, put them in a container, and put them in my camper for the winter. Much to my surprise, they did well and survived....then I built a greenhouse, put them in there permanently and had some plants which were seven years old.

So to get clamato in australia is about $40 a litre, which is not something I'm willing to pay for how many caesars and bloody marys we will go through. This is exactly the recipe I needed! I can't wait to try it. Also, apparently you can can this recipe - 10psi at sea level for 40 minutes in a pressure canner.

Buying salt is more efficient, instead of heating up water for like 4 hours, and waste electricity, that would be expensive paybills.

I use only vinegar and root. A lot more vinegar than that. A quarter of a blender and about 8 times more root than your first batch. Lasts a year in fridge. But that's me.
