En cuanto al CINCO de Espadas, pienso que nos habla de ese tipo de relación donde las personas compiten con su palabra. Relaciones de discusiones por el solo hecho de querer humillar al otro. La pregunta es si el consultante es el que humilla o el humillado... Aunque el problema de base es que compiten en vez de relacionarse de una manea amorosa...

Muy bueno el video. Al diez (10) de Bastos yo lo suelo llamar MAL DON... En Argentina hay un juego de cartas llamado TRUCO. Cuando en el reparto de las cartas (3 por jugador) una se da vuelta, se dice MAL DON y la persona tiene que repartir de nuevo. Entonces, se asocia este diez de bastos con que hay que SABER REPARTIR la carga. Gracias por el hermoso video !

Excelente video. Se entiende muy bien. No sé si eres docente, pero mereces serlo por esa claridad en la explicación de cada carta. No me quedó claro el nombre que la Golden Dawn le da a los números cuatro y cinco. Estoy tratando de escribirlos. Estudié hace un tiempo con una maravillosa profesora en mi país (Argentina) y ella algunos los dijo en sus clases, pero no tengo todos. Muchas gracias por sus valiosísimos videos !!!

I hadn't thought of Pentacles like that to be honest, but yes, I suppose you could interpret them like that. I tend to view the whole deck as reflecting what we value as good or evil. Each card has its light and dark aspects (upright or reversal if you use that technique) so I feel good or evil is represented right across the spectrum of experience, the elements, personality types and the higher realities of the Major Arcana. The upright or reversed pentagram as shown on the pentacles of many decks is a powerful symbol of good vs evil but I would still prefer the broader perspective of the whole deck. Hope this helps.

Undefinable...........she is.............and I see her as the Statue of Liberty - that sits in New York Harbor. She is where the turmoil cannot rest in a sense. But, then again, I am a New Yorker and the feeling that comes to me - is her PLACE as a protector and beacon. She will never be finished taking care of business and starting a new one. Be ready for change and to move on.

Gracias por el video. El 3 de oros yo lo llamo "trabajo en equipo" dado sus tres personajes en el Rider Waite. Se ve que usted lo ve de una manera distinta. Muy interesante la descripción del 7 de Oros. Siempre creí que era una carta que indica "esperar que los frutos maduren", pero por lo que nos dijo en su video es justamente lo contrario, actuar para que no se echen a perder los frutos...

I've seen temperance cards with male, female and androgynous figures and they've all spoken to me. I particularly liked the Temperance card from the Robin Wood Tarot which was male. The Waite-Smith figure is more ambiguous.

Para mi profesora de Tarot, si bien el Ermitaño nos habla de soledad, no es tanto la ausencia del otro sino una fuerte presencia de un Yo que se ha constituido. No es un Yo sin límites. Es un yo con la conciencia de sus límites. Por eso es como muy íntegra la carta.

It's the Ten of Wands and I was inspired by an amazing digital artist called Igor Morski. He did this surreal image of an old man weighed down with a giant cockroach tied to his back. It summed up the whole concept of oppression really well so this card is my homage to his artistry. Hope this helps!

i picked up 2 sets of cards, one with meanings, and the other with the picture and the name. Be patient with yourself and go slowly. The more you work with the cards, the more you'll begin to feel at home with them and with their meanings. It feels like a lot of research at first but eventually, you'll find those basic meanings become second nature, and you'll begin to build up your own list of personal associations with the cards themselves.

I'm ever so grateful for you two taking the tlme to make this series. I've been getting acquainted with the deck while watching you go through the creation process. This journey has created what I can only describe as intimacy toward the cards. The story about the card backs was quite emotional for me. Tattoos are so personal. Personally I feel more of a connection to the deck not inspite of but in fact because on the tattoo being a part of it. I can imagine it was not an easy decision to sacrifice a part of your privacy. I can't help but feel as though that was truly an act of making sacred, which enlivened the deck. Thank you again for creating what feels like a truly Hekatean oracle.

Love the Demeter card 47, there are many layers to the mythology of that story which I am still discovering years later 😊 Have always sensed that the common story is a distilled version of the Mystery, agree with Kenn Payne.
