Para mi profesora de Tarot, si bien el Ermitaño nos habla de soledad, no es tanto la ausencia del otro sino una fuerte presencia de un Yo que se ha constituido. No es un Yo sin límites. Es un yo con la conciencia de sus límites. Por eso es como muy íntegra la carta.

Con vuestro permiso, otro comentario. No llegué a entender por qué en la carta de la Templanza ha puesto un varón A mi entender el hombre es más racional.

I've seen temperance cards with male, female and androgynous figures and they've all spoken to me. I particularly liked the Temperance card from the Robin Wood Tarot which was male. The Waite-Smith figure is more ambiguous.
