I like this song, when you're young it's ok to let off and be ignorant and young sometimes. I know you listened to some wack ass songs back in your day 😂 At the end of the day music is beautiful and I appreciate the different styles and genres. We all have that go to ignorant song where nothing is really being said, it's just meant to vibe and have a good time.

Pure Floor. I love this song. Btw, this song was Floor's pick for a single, it made her cry when she first heard it (I had the same reaction to this song, it's so touching). Tuomas lost his father a few years ago and he wrote this song out of that emotion. The message is to enjoy life, as it's beautiful and should be celebrated instead of grieved when it ends.

Tuomas Holopainen wrote it as a reflection upon his father’s passing in 2021. He reflects on how we have been blessed to have had lantern lights who have guided our lives and how we in turn should serve the same role for others. It is about our love for each other. The Welsh and Northern English word "wynde" means a narrow lane or alley between homes. Basically we walk that narrow alley between our ancestors and our descendants lighting the way between generations until we become the ancestors when we walk into the yesterwynde. Gone is the hurt, the wait, gone is the warmth of day. A stray boat saved, happy memories engraved, on into a velvety night, beneath a lanternlight. Last night brought the heaviest of snows melting the songs of old, tying the boat, write a new one soon, sending me to the drowning moon, far above a lanternlight. I'm in the light and flood, I'm in the four winds, I am the waves shaping pebbles flawless gems, I am the snow on your palm. The Warning visited BAND-MAID in Tokyo for this collaboration. Kanami and Dany have an interview on the PRS channel… the both play PRS guitars. They said next time BAND-MAID should visit The Warning in Mexico and Dany upped the ante and suggested they do a song in Spanish.

i have listened to this song over a 100 times and never felt the emotions this song gives me from any other song

5:50 (and throughout the video) noticed the doubling of Floor's face. Might be just me but I'm reminded of Janus, the Roman god with the two faces looking into the past/future simultaneously, representing transition & the passage of time. Perhaps in this context even the transition of being in and out of time (Tuomas' father). Just a wild guess, but it would perfectly fit the message/vibe.

I was lucky enough to get a ticket in the lottery for their show in Tokyo. They debuted this song in the encore with both bands on stage. It was incredible. And it was so special seeing the affection and respect they have forceach itger didolayed on stage. I was in tears by the end. Now, they are supposed to get together again, but in Mexico this time. The live version of Show Them is even better. Im hoping they release THAT soon, too. The Warning has put out a vlog of their time with Band Maud. You should react to that as well.

The parts you don’t like about this song are probably due to his guitarist Tyler Bates, who I’m a fan of, saw him up close in concert, but he does a lot of film/tv stuff, and you can hear his style in a lot of Manson new songs in the last 10 years or so. I’m a fan of it, but it’s exactly what you’re talking about with the music

Just a beautiful ballad to close out the album. On first listen, I thought parts of this song, particularly the first verse, could fit in with songs from Floor's solo album. But it's still most definitely Nightwish.

Kanami composed the song, and made it challenging for everyone, wrote it in a key higher that Saiki and Dany usually sing in. Song is on the new Band Maid album. Love the little 'duels', they even highlighted those in shorts leading up to this release, Ale vs Misa, Pau vs Akane, etc, Miku got a solo short too. Lyrics credited to Miku and The Warning. In one of the interviews mentioning a possible future collab in Mexico, Dany joked that it would be in a lower key. They did play it live together, with all 8 ladies on stage, but only a teaser clip has been officially released to date. There is fan cam footage of the entire performance , but DO NOT react to that, many that did got copyright strikes. Heard that announcements were made at the concert to not film, in English and Japanese, but not in Spanish, and apparently someone with The Warning's group posted the footage as they would normally do in the Americas. Glad you decided to check this out. 🤘🤘

Tuomas wrote this in tribute to his father, who passed in 2021. Lantern light are the people who guided us through life & who are no longer with us. Those loved ones who we see random thing ,like the snow flake on our palm.

I know you where a little iffy about doing this but glad you did and glad you liked it .

So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. TW went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to go to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color. There is now a behind the scenes video of the two bands together on TW's YT channel.
