In one of their interviews, when asked for a favorite breakup song, Pau picked this one. I do agree that this was an excellent cover, I really liked Ale's playing of Flea's bassline. This ended up being somewhat of a full circle moment as well. The Warning opened for Foo Fighters shortly before Taylor Hawkins passed away, Taylor played drums for Alanis on the Jagged Little Pill album tour.

I think that this cover is perfect for The Warning because of the power of Dany's voice that easily reaches those high notes of Alanis, plus instrumentally they sound fantastic, that bass for God's sake how beautiful it sounds

Yes, as a fan of these 3 sisters, I tend to be protective of them when I hear negative comments because they are such sweethearts and over time you start seeing them as family. That being said I'm glad you liked it.

I will have to admit, I've been really upset with you in the past. For some reason I was never a big fan of this song. But now I cannot stop listening to it (The Warnings Version)... Every part of this cover is incredible. I even went back and listened to all of the live and Studio with everyone Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, not any of them, to me nothing 😅even comes close. The best cover of any song, I believe. Dany's epic vocals are so amazing. then her dreamy guitar work wow, Dave Navro's parts, Dany sound so Remarkable much better imop. Ali's mesmerizing bass lines, I swear she has magic finger tips on. I believe some Hobbits made them, Yes better than Flea's. Pau's Drumming is perfect and with the brushes, I got chills with this song pretty much all the way through. Yes sir you nailed it... This is, as you said, a PERFECT Cover? Cover doesn't sound right... Love it...
