The "horns by itself" feeling is quintessential 1950s American big band. You'd have a TON of horns and a couple saxes, a double bassist, and a vocalist. Replace the double bassist with an electric bass and FAT synth, a vocalist with the guitar and key solos and add in strings, and now you have a fully fusion capable roster.

The phrase at the end of the bass solo is actually a typical Jazz phrase, but the way they put it in and the accuracy they perform it with - WOW!! Here it is written out for the drums: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ep3Tf6mcbbylnq8

It's an R&B band. The lead singer is Stockley. Very popular in the 90's and early 2000's. I can tell the guy on the right had this on repeat back in the day 😂

I remember playing it for my Dad in the car and the beginning almost made him crash cuz i had it up so loud. I shouldve prepared him lol Anyways my Father is long past but we enjoyed this masterpiece together for over a decade but it gave memories for a lifetime ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love this reaction
