I saw Mint Condition in Hammersmith London. Their drummer was mind blowing, he caused me to appreciate drumming contributions and drumming is a language on its own. You guys found a 90’s gem

I promise you will not get tired of this. I was around 13 when this came out. Im 47 its frkn 2024 and this still makes me weak. I remember playing it for my Dad in the car and the beginning almost made him crash cuz i had it up so loud. I shouldve prepared him lol Anyways my Father is long past but we enjoyed this masterpiece together for over a decade but it gave memories for a lifetime ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love this reaction

This is probably the best r&b song to come out of the late 80's to end of the 90's. What Kind of Man Would I Be. Is also a huge song by them and well worth a listen.

They aren't a boy band They are a funk band who happen to be a direct descendant of Prince..they are from the same hometown ...research..you will be shocked. The lead singer was the drummer who had to step in for the previous lead...

One of the amazing things about Mint Condition is that Stokely was not supposed the be the lead singer. It sort of happened by chance because of something that happened at time of recording their first song to the lead singer. There is no way I can ever imagine Mint Condition without Stokely singing lead. Their unique vocals on all their classics start with his lead vocals. That man can saaanngg.
@RTDavis0503 Жыл бұрын

It's an R&B band. The lead singer is Stockley. Very popular in the 90's and early 2000's. I can tell the guy on the right had this on repeat back in the day 😂

One of the reasons why i hate reaction videos is because the people reacting can’t shut up long enough to enjoy the music they are reacting to. How are you going to understand the best parts of the song while you’re having conversation while missing out on the melody, the cord changes, the musicality, and all the rest? When this song was recommended, there was a reason for it. Sit back and enjoy the song then make your comments after it’s over. Then you’ll get to actually hear everything about the song from start to finish. We love to hear what your reaction is, but please get a sense of the whole song so we can enjoy it with you.
@HoopCITY762 жыл бұрын
They have several other songs that were just as good and nearly as big a hit as this. You have no idea what you’re talking about. And if you want to see how serious their musicianship is, there’s plenty of live performances right here on KZbin. In my opinion they sound much better live.
@HoopCITY76 Жыл бұрын
Stokley may have a high tenor voice but in no way does he sound like a woman. Just because you’re British doesn’t mean you know about music.
