There’s nothing he can’t master. I recently watched him playing shredding country a la Brent Mason. I’m pretty sure Brent’s not able to play himself like Matteo can, just like Brent but in a more athletic manner that Brent couldn’t possibly play. MM has got to be the most bestest we’ve seen. Now hearing him play complicatedly beautiful Pat Metheny compositions in the sensitive, thoughtful manner of Metheny. So beautiful

The younger audience needs to appreciate 2M as much as the older audience, so he can have the larger audience that he deserves. So many comments start with "this young man..." I think he will break through soon.
