The bussard collector on the front of the warp nacelle is suppose to collect hydrogen gas for use in the anti-matter generator. But the deflector dish is mounted in front of the bussard collector which would prevent it from doing its job. The design of that ship does not make sense.
@tetzlaffblah5 күн бұрын
This ship’s design was by Franz Joseph and dates back to the Star Fleet Technical Manual, published in 1975.

Excellent Animation Needed better voices
@OldMastyr3Ай бұрын
Excellent work right here. The only thing I take issue with is the voice acting. I know this isn't a professional production, but they could have at least tried to sound like the characters they were portraying. It's pretty jarring. The voice for Spock was the only exception.

Overall very enjoyable, a clear labor of love. Thanks indeed. Oh fun, the Aqua Shuttle, a legacy of the 1973 animated series. At the size depicted, I don't think it would have fit in the Enterprise hangar deck, let alone below. But the original series also had serious scale problems with the shuttlecraft.

That is 100 percent wrong. During the Omega Glory Bill Theiss mistakenly made different insignias for the Exeter's crew. When Bob Justman found out, he wrote a memo, which is available online, explaining that the Delta WAS the only insignia for starship assignment. It was too late to correct the mistake because filming had already started. This is corroborated if you take into account the bar scene in Court Martial. There are several officers with Deltas on their uniforms present. They clearly are NOT Enterprise officers, as they throw a lot of shade towards Kirk for Finney's death. Kirk tells one officer he hasn't seen him since the Vulcanian Expedition. The only other insignias that are Canon are Starbase and other outpost insignias.

Mengh, they were OK. Don't knock people who are doing this sort of stuff in their spare time and for fun. It's not like they have a director berating them, threatening to fire them, telling them to do a 7th take but THIS time emphasize THAT line like THIS, IDIOT - BE a #@$%^!@#$# professional! This was a more interesting story and better done than anything in YEARS in this fictional universe by "the professionals".

Uniform insignia are wrong.
@startrek-theparadisemakers78468 ай бұрын
Really? Which ones are you referring to? I don’t remember hiring you as my continuity director.
@fuzzywzhe8 ай бұрын
Insignia on the uniforms in this era of Star Trek was unique to the ship, NOT the service itself. I know that in the original series whenever another ship was encountered they had different insignia on the uniform, however, they may have broken this rule later in the series to reduce costs of production.

Great animation and story. A great Spock. But Kirk sounds like a high school kid. Why destroy the whole thing by not finding anyone who could imitate Shatner--so many people CAN. It is idiotic. Also, Picard was the one who would say, "Come," not Kirk, when someone would ring the door bell.
