To everyone getting caught up on his christian beliefs ...move on folks jesuz( pun intended)...this is not a Faith based practice (except faith in yourself) like 12 steps ...it takes faith inyour own abilities to take responsibility for yourself and your own healing journey ...DBT is also life changing for whomever does the work ...

What is described here by the doctor is not anxiety. It is normal behaviour. Anxiety is a mental health issue precisely because repeated exposure to anxiety triggers DO NOT reduce anxiety.

For centuries only genetic hackers were around the globe ........ heredity and genes are now become common language of non medical beginers ...also .... They just know how to keep themselves motivated . Celebrating every occasions especially marriages ...., Birthdays, teachers day , women's day , all to swipe ......big treats with spending from individual pocket ....... So the community is conducting marriages to swing in mood ...... like films like bahubali ....were box office collection for the priests performing such a ceremony and amassing wealth .... Typical way of collective collection of dowry ...... So why should anyone be depressed unless they are individually not self sufficient to meet thier daily needs ........ Flight ticket is not a daily necessity for me

Probably people with show empathy to .......celebrities who just kick off their colleques once they receive the rubber stamps of notary public who I guess could endorse for medical chief and medical practitioners ......... Mental health and ladies .......who have to work individually to meet expenses of self ....... Quack doctors are bullying around in medical hostels and canteens Warden I am not the guardian for Stanford University lady guards or housekeeping

Are you a professional ?¿ Simply stealing diaries and notes of lesson that doesn't belong to you ??? Lady guard will fetch it from hostel guys and housekeeping will fetch the food ??? The security gate will fetch the interest deposited by chidambaram on behalf of the faculty members who have resigned but prabha vaidhyanathan is having all salary registers of the private engineering colleges ?? So why should there be low mood swing when you have such a fat income by way of interest ......of faculty ...from across the global Global colleges investment scheme Either Vinayaka mission or ...karpaga Vinayakacan swing with .....hot ...cash

I think that the concepts work. In life the jumping out of a plane example is a good one. The only point in life the plane jump increases in difficultly, so as our experience increases, many times the challenges increase in proportion.

I suffered from almost disabling, "High Anxiety", many years ago. As a type of solution, I tried making appointments with my problems - to stop thinking about them all the time. But when the appointment time came up, I found that my problems didn't seem too serious and that my mind could sort them out (without a lot of suffering). So I knew then, that if I could develop a suitable approach I could eventually overcome my "High Anxiety".

Why do you just assume everyone believes in the theory of evolution and that it is fact? A theory that has never been proven.

Keith is probably one of the few speakers I believe and can listen to. He's more Descriptive and methodical about going through why it happens and how to go about treating it rather than just going for the fake it till you make it approach that you hear in a lot of the other videos about depression.

It sounds great. Makes a lot of sense and in many cases is effective. However, It often fails. For example people despite understanding the logic are willing to face the challenge. They know that anxiety will be reduced if they look it in the eye but they avoid doing that. That is where CBT can sometimes be lacking. There is a subconscious reason for the avoidance. There is a hidden reason why someone can't go shopping in a supermarket. In this case treating the symptom will not be enough. Treating the resistance becomes more important. And this also addresses the initiation of the problem. The graphs, though being valid in many cases don't explain how it all started. Yes the person has a false belief (this elevator will plummet now) but this belief wasn't caused by conditioning (once they were in an elevator that nearly fell). It is a part of the complexity of their psyche (their self confidence, self perception, belief that people will help them and many more factors). CBT doesn't address this complexity and therefore may be effective in some cases but will be ineffective in others.

i ve got great relief by getting a subsciption for xanax which i can use to get me out of any more serious panic attacks which have caused a lot of problems in the past, the thing is you want to practice with the dose first there is 0,25mg or 0,5 mg which will act stronger at the beginning when you take it, you must get comfortable with the dose that fits best first, and should be discussed with a doctor dealing with the treatment and after the sedation wears off slightly calm sets in, and will certainly be of great help with bad situations. it must be tested at home first, after that one can go out and travel, drive or go around town. an antidepressant may be of use also, we are still using the good old anafranil, but there may be reasons for using ssri s. the newtype antidepressant. sadly no really new drugs have appeared for about 20 years but there is a lot of research going on in the background, i heard.
