I feel like farming rare arcanes and some weapon parts that are behind long tedious farms and selling them to be more efficient than trying to sell a riven, specially when a lot of people in the riven market are comparable to cryptobros trying to scam people by lowballing them or trying to sell one for outrageous prices. Just keep your rivens that you use and farms things that people really need and would pay a fair amount of plat for.

Nothing new about "buy low sell high" but, given the market and the community of this game I'm shocked to see so many people lining up to get fleeced like that so quickly. I really don't get what I'm doing wrong. No one wants to sell rivens to me, even though I offer around 30 - 50 more plat on average than anyone else in chat. It takes HOURS until someone responds to sell a riven, and then it's a 50/50 if they actually sell it. Just right now I was looking to buy a Ceramic Dagger riven for 180p. Someone answered, I invited them and we went into Dojo. And they waited up until the trade menu just to tell me they want 270p... Thx for wasting my time! Maybe I'm just unlucky but I can think of multiple better farms, I spent the entire day flipping rivens today, I only had 2 successful flips for around 50p each.

Something I like to do is change regions I’ve bought really cheap and good riven from other regions like Asia and South America. Sometimes there might be language barriers but just try to keep things simple.

Selling arcanes also works quite fine. Omnia fissure void cascade = Frame/Weapon parts + Arcanes.

Ahh this explains the horrible negatives on rivens for overpriced value that literally destroys the point of having a riven in the first place. Saw a Boar riven with -80-90% ammo max, listed like 2k solely because it had cc, ms and cd XD that's like 4 shots and your empty, not even enough ammo to fill one magazine lmaoo.

I understand you are trying to help people out, but this method does not work with experienced traders. You say you do not buy from people who are a low MR, but that isn't a great indicator of whether a player is new to trading or the game (a lot of new players rush MR as fast as possible without even touching steel path). It is a free market, but it is still quite unethical to do this and to see how many people are thanking you for showing how to exploit uninformed people is rather disturbing. As an experienced trader myself, your exact method is not exactly new or groundbreaking, so many people are doing it and I get quite annoyed seeing the same message over and over again from desperate people who are just there to farm platinum. And also I disagree with not rolling an unpopular riven into a god one, you'd be surprised how many people in this game would rather have a groll on their favourite non-meta weapon than the next new thing. I would even argue there's a bigger market for grolls on non-meta weapons rather than the meta ones, because meta grolls sell quite fast and if you didn't make use of that in the beginning, you would have a much harder time selling a groll torid than let's say a groll on a weapon that you would see someone buying for in the trade chat.
