Me too. Although most passengers dislike the inconvenience of having their bag out of reach. I don't mind having an unavailable bag especially on planes that do not have assigned seating. Even when I am the last to board, the middle seat in row 1 is usually available because there is no under seat storage in the bulkhead so you must place all bags, even personal items, in the overhead.

I think the long arrow threw me off my game.

Actually once we figured out what we did wrong, we were too embarrassed to enter after all the patrons had watched us walking the entire perimeter peering quizzically n the bank of windows.

Seems obvious now that I see the video but at the time I truly thought they had a different entry door somewhere else.

I made the video because I thought any reasonable person would think the sign was referring to a difference entrance but now that I watch the video it does seem obvious.

Airport policies can change a lot in 6 years! In another six years we may have facial recognition and not need to carry documents at all!

If you’re going to make public a cool educational video such as this one, it behooves one to not show yourself committing something that’s not only illegal, but inconsiderate of others. When I’m driving, I’m focusing on that. I don’t have my phone out as a distraction. 🤷 It's also odd to me that you would support that behavior.

When I think about it, every airport I've visited does place baggage claim on a level that is accessible by vehicles. This is usually the bottom level, but can be any level where the luggage can be rolled across a relatively flat surface and directly to a vehicle. This makes sense because otherwise the heavy luggage would need to be hauled down stairways, elevators and escalators causing bottlenecks in the airport passageways and potential injuries to people carrying heavy luggage.

Perhaps I am misinformed about desert city landscapes. Are acres of lush green grass backyards typical? If so, I find it surprising as lawns use more water per acre foot than any other landscape.
