X-Ceptional Healing should have been locked to Weapon X, give people a reason to play them. Weapon X got so much worse, paying for X-Men's sins. Overall, I like most of this, but Crew and X-Ceptional seem reactionary and short sighted

Hit CGR so hard with the Nerf bat that no one plays him anymore. Then take away Crew, so there is no reason not to play the better high threat characters (Hulk, who was already better than CGR at 6 threat, and Thanos). How is saving an action more powerful than giving Immortal Hulk an extra attack action with Siege? Guardians players are going to continue to pay for poor character design that gave CGR stupid round 1 turns.

making Rhinobbery cost 4 power is barely a nerf. Rhino getting 4 power is very trivial.

Ultron Metal Tyrant could have just been Ultron Prime or Ultron-13 or whatever. Original Ultron is just taking up space in my display case forever now.

I think no matter the cost was removed because of webs but also apocalypse having access to wolverine probably made him too efficient as a horseman of death

I hope that all of these cards are being rotated to then come back as faction specific cards.

The loss of Kick'em & Trip Up is massive. Those have been autos in most of my rosters since they were introduced!

11:10 First of the Black Order technically got ever so slightly buffed. It used to give power to ALL Black Order models, friend or foe. Now it only gives power to YOUR Black Order guys. Meet my Executioner is no longer in such a way that Skurge could take a collision test for himself. (Original card said Another allied character, referring to Enchantress. New version says non-Skurge character specifically. Last-Minute Save only lets Lockjaw save friendly characters if they'd be killed by an enemy effect, not just when they would die (so he can't prevent you hurting yourself. 😢) World domination used to say "If you control all Secure objective tokens" but now it says "If you are Securing all Secure Objective tokens." Not sure what the difference in wording means from a mechanics standpoint. I think Ghost Rider's card might just be a print and play version of the errata they made a while ago? Not 100% sure on that one.

I think of the new box lady sif is probably the best model to splash. Charging on turn one with a rather tanky model seems good.

More than a little disappointed with T6 Thor, though happy we have am upgrade to play with even if not optimal for the massive threat cost. Not immune to Stun??? So one status and he can't even use most of his abilities before getting inevitably dazed. I feel they pulled back on him to allow some gimmicks. No defensive tech....why???? Sif has a damage reduction, so does BRB. Thor is a hoss and should he far more durable. They also wasted an oppty for a G-d blast ttc, or a major offensive manuever that replaces the now lost combos with Cap and Ironman. Not sure what AMG's issue is with Thor, but making him a T6 and jot making him worth it over the upgraded T5 or even Jan Foster Thor is just sad.

I'm a huge Thor fan, and I love the new Thor. He may not be top tier or an auto-include in every roster, but I'm just happy we have a Thor that feels more like his comics-level power.

Sif looks like a fun brawler

These new Asgard modals are so interesting but I'm most excited for Jane, even tho I think sif will be meta as hell.

Asgard was my first faction focus in MCP and I'm hoping these new releases put them back in contention (I doubt it)

Feels like new Thor is missing some small buff or super power. Or maybe AMG needs to tweak Hulk back down just a tincy bit.

I think the Loki/Killmonger combo is going to catch a lot of people off guard and win some games. I wish Loki2 had a better spender, but I really do like the rest of his card quite a lot.

I have a rules question, can bodyguard be used on an area attack? considering area attack does not target a specific character, can a bodyguard card or power be used? the specific situation was daredevil using area attach and thanos using sacrifice to protect another teammate in an effort to absorb both orlf the area attacks. anyone who has clarity of this would be appreciated 👏

I can see her being a popular Asgard leader, more popular than Thor, Prince of Asgard. I agree with you about the Mighty Thor run. The reasoning for Thor to be "unworthy" was very weak, but the run itself was pretty good.

I can definitely see taking both Loki's in an Asgard roster and choosing whichever one best fits the crisis set up.

I am now really looking forward to the new Asgard box. Think you can have a full affiliated roster now. Shame all their leaders are 5 threats though.

Playing her with old Thor to go bowling with enemy characters could be very good fun!

I think Jane would be fun with A-Force. Need something to better protect She Hulk.

the R2 place ability seems really out of place on his card since it doesn't affect enemy characters, but other than that seems very much lore for loki.

Honestly I was gonna get her even if she was hot trash. Might thor was one of the first runs I read when I got back into comics so she holds a soft spot for me

ASgard was the first affiliation I played, and I'm super stoked at all these chonky options. As a current DD player, I still love asgardian characters cause they can do so much of their kit with 3 power a turn.

I really like her kit. I like the leadership a lot too. I still find the Loki leadership more thematic but this one is good too. I am surprised none of the new leaders are a 4 threat. I am curious how these new characters and cards position Asgard players in the meta.
