As a native German speaker, I have always seen the film in German. Now that I see this part in English, I'm glad I've always seen the film in German. Interestingly, the timing and tonality is much better in German than in the English original. The voice melody, which takes the content of what is being said to another level, is also much better. This isn't the case with many films, but this one is dramatically well dubbed.

Are you men capable of paying attention to anything? Can't even pay attention to your own misogynistic movies. 1. He said "Pit" not "Pip" 2. His real name isn't Pit either. His name is Jules, it's literally said through the movie. He only said "Pit" to rhyme with "shit". 3. Jules called the guy "Flock of Seagulls" in reference to the band because the couch guy has a haircut similar to a band member of Flock of Seagulls.

Seeing this movie on the big screen back in 1994 and never losing the back and forth narrative was amazing. This didn't win best picture and that was the real crime.
