after updating i am getting 2 errors i am new to this and self taught so i am stuck for fear of screwing up further .all i did was update then got these: /usr/bin/emulationstation:line 28:unexspected EOF while looking for matching `"' /usr/bin/emulationstation: line31 :syntax error: unexpected end of file i dont know how to find this error or "line"

Tried this on a Pi Zero 2w running DVSwitch, the ~sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config doesn't work, I had to cd /etc/ssh first, then nano sshd_config, which got me in, but when I modified the permission, and tried to save it, it gives me a denial. So they might be on to you. 😅

I just installed OpenBOr emulator on Windows 10 PC. So I put the .pak files in the pak folder, and the emulator detects the games and shows a static thumbnail picture preview from the game list directory when running .exe My question is where do I put the .mp4 preview files that show video clip previews of the game. You know the short video that plays when you hover of any game from the main game list.

I put the configs folder in the same place as where the rom folder sits and I select it and the skraper does not find it and wont let me click the next button ):

so I took out the # and everything went into the nano and set it to yes saved and left the file and when I tried to start up the file again it still hits me with the access denied error idk what I did wrong here?? ive been doing this for like an hour now im just frustrated at this point

Sometimes this happens, I would try again in a couple of days. It might be under heavy load.

This is not useful. It doesn't use the signatures to rename the files, so there's no point.

Not useful for you* The video is for a file renaming tool, not a signature editting tool. Not everybody needs/wants their signatures renaming.

It works fine on windows 11 it only works brill only depending how the ROMs are named and depending on the skraper media library.

Any chance you have a video or a walk through for those of us trying to use one of the bacotera builds from arcade punks with instructions on how to use it on a Windows 10 PC. I'm trying to use it with retroarch and retropie but I don't see how to use the build image with either of those programs.

Hey man, I've actually not tried the Bacotera build. I've actually been out the game since 2019, but thinking of coming back. I would probably seek help on another channel for now, but I do plan on trying out some of the recent stuff. I know I used hyperPC, but that's probably outdated now. Sorry I wasn't much help this time, hope you find your answers bud.

Thanks for the comment, I've been out the game a while (although considering youtube again). Amiberry is the Amiga emulator on retropie right? If I remember there is a list somewhere, if you ssh to the device I think it's one of the options under retropie-setup. There might be another channel out there that could help, who have done it more recently. Sorry about that dude, I hope you find your answer.

quick question for you , i am still new to this game . After taking new update (kernell) on my Retropie Pi4 , it wont boot any more keep getting this message : cannot open access to console the root account is locked , thanks for your support
