Are you sure you will be able to push that plunger in and out on a good one?
@ProTechAutomotive13 күн бұрын
@@johnhuff1887 yeah they should move in and out quite easily. If they don’t then good chance it won’t work in the motor.

Hi I have a similar problem, in the same motor. The engine start fine at first, but after like 6 miles at 4500 rpm when I put the gas at the minimum the engine goes off and it won't restart. To restart it i need to let it cool down or to open the butterfly manually. Can you help me pleaasee.
@ProTechAutomotive13 күн бұрын
@@paolorighi3752 definitely sounds like a similar issue. When the motor won’t start but starts with the butterfly open, usually means theres a fault with the IAC valve same as the one I replaced in the video. The IAC valve lets air through when the butterfly is closed at idle. If it’s not working then the motor won’t start without manually opening the butterfly.

@@ProTechAutomotive Curious if you have any advice. After replacing the ICV about a month ago the boat ran great. Now the problem is back.
@ProTechAutomotive28 күн бұрын
@@kevinbonk2244 did you buy a genuine Valve or a cheap aftermarket one? If replacing it solved the problem but the issue later returned, chances are the new part is faulty.

Hi mate love the vid, I just had a question about were to find a centre armrest. Because I have the Toyota workmate and they don’t have an armrest in the middle would you know who would supply them for a manual Ute?
@ProTechAutomotive2 ай бұрын
Cheers mate! I’m not sure if they have one specifically for the workmate but I have seen generic ones to suit all vehicles. Only cheap ones at places like eBay and Ali express so not sure of their quality.

hello mate, are you not supposed to hear a beep, when you turn the key ?
@ProTechAutomotive3 ай бұрын
Yes a lot of motors do beep when you turn ignition on but this model has never done that.

Great video cheers mate i have 2 ordered... is there a way to test if its broken other than replace it? Im getting esp stability control off all the time as my symptom?
@ProTechAutomotive3 ай бұрын
Cheers mate! Most wheel speed sensors emit an AC voltage when the wheel is spinning so you can set a multimeter on AC and put it either side of the sensor with it unplugged and spin the wheel. You will have to try it with all the wheels and if one has a different value to the rest it’s faulty. But honestly if you have new sensors coming it’s 10x quicker to just put the new one in and see if the fault goes away.

I have a yamaha F100 and It just works fine at the first then a few moment later while running high rpm, the rpm goes down and engine stops. After a few manuel pump to fuel It works againg but not for a long time, and it stars to make it on low rpm now. would I have the same problem ?
@ProTechAutomotive4 ай бұрын
Your issue sounds slightly different. My issue was it wouldn’t run on idle but would run with the revs high. Sounds like you might have a fuel issue. Check where the fuel hose goes from the manual pump through into the motor. They can get kinked there and no get enough pressure through. It will idle but won’t have enough fuel to rev it up.

Just ordered part Yamaha F90 2008 (309 hours), 6D8-13105-03-00, yamaha software indicated my ISC was at 60% and upon testing (i did hear a noise) would not go over 80%. Could be the sensor portion of it. Started acting up one day by not planing and started going downhill from there. When I flushed the engine, it was running as it was acting up. Next month, didn't want to start. I recently replaced VST fuel filter parts like you said in the video (that was fun), getting spark and fuel. That leaves the ISC in which I will replace upon arrival. Thank you for the video and will keep you posted.

I have a 100 hp yamaha that is giving problem the main fuse keeps blowing even when the ignition is disconnected can you help me
@ProTechAutomotive7 ай бұрын
So the fuse blows even with the key off? Easiest way to solve that is to go online and find a wiring diagram for that motor. From there you can find out what is on the same circuit as that fuse and remove them from the circuit. Add them back in one by one until the fuse blows and you will know what caused it to blow. Hopefully this makes sense 😂
@ProTechAutomotive7 ай бұрын
Also how many hours on your motor? If it’s a bit older the regulator burning out is a common fault on the 90 & 100hp. That will blow a main fuse

Any idea how this works in a 2022 model. All screws are in the same place- the problem I’m having is once those screws and trim piece are removed, I don’t have enough slack in the electrical lead to lift the unit out to get to that hidden screw…
@ProTechAutomotive9 ай бұрын
You may have to follow the wiring harness into the dash and cut a few cable ties to allow some slack in the lead. Hopefully you can do this without having to remove panels off the dash.
