Holden Commodore ABS Fault - Speed Sensor Replacement

A very common fault in the commodores, ABS fault light comes on the dash. After hooking up the scan tool the fault code C0045-00 comes up in the electronic brake control module. It’s usually either the rear left or right speed sensors that are faulty. Here is a video on how to change one.

Thanks for the vid. My partner has an 08 ve and his cars showing a p0500 and im trying to find a fix for it. Looks simple so ill tell him to buy the parts cause im not🤣🤣 but ill fix it🙄

Great video cheers mate i have 2 ordered... is there a way to test if its broken other than replace it? Im getting esp stability control off all the time as my symptom?

Cheers mate! Most wheel speed sensors emit an AC voltage when the wheel is spinning so you can set a multimeter on AC and put it either side of the sensor with it unplugged and spin the wheel. You will have to try it with all the wheels and if one has a different value to the rest it’s faulty. But honestly if you have new sensors coming it’s 10x quicker to just put the new one in and see if the fault goes away.
