Why are non of my boolean Variable actions showing?

If they are Object variables, when you are creating your event, first click on the object they are attached to then search 'var' for variable. If they are Global or Scene variables you dont click on any objects, you just go straight into searching 'var'.

Hi, yes I agree! I just wanted to make sure you were available for help. I am new to teaching this content and I can not always help when my students get stuck. Here is the issue. My student is following your tutorial and for some reason his game is stalling when he collides with and gets power up. Second issue is the gamba won't throw. Here are a few screen shots of code.

Hmmm... I guess they would auto equip? You would need 6 points around your character. You can add them to your character Object using Edit Points. Something like Equip1, Equip2 ... Equip6. Then as you collect weapons you would need to set them to a slot that is open. Whatever equipment is set to slot 1 would be Stickered to your character point("Equip1") ... and so on and so fourth

It still same behavior as before you add this sub event. What should I do? And I want to display two same inventory, ex: One pause menu and one in Shop menu, these two same to unpaused game inventory. What event should work for these idea?

I am doing an Rougelike game, now I got into a problem. I cant remove the picked card from Randominrange, it was still showing up again and again. How do I remove a number in RandomInRange so that the card will not show up again? ex: I have 5 animations so I use Randominrange (0,4), I picked up the second animation so I want it will not show up again.

This is not something I have built yet with Gdevelop but here are my thoughts. I believe Arrays in Gdevelop work with the added bonus being able to push and pop values in and out of it. So if all your values are in an array - and you look for a the value between RandonInRange(0,ArraySize) then you draw a 4, you will get the 4th indexed spots value - then you pop it out (So it's gone). Now you have a smaller sized array and if you draw 4 again it would technically be what was 5. I've only dabbled here and there with GDevelop and really wanted to start figuring out how to do some ACTUAL stuff with it when lo-and-behold your tutoral showed up in my recommends, and a top-down Zelda-like was exactly what I was hoping to learn. Went through the entire tutorial over the last 2 days and its genuinely a fantastic, easy to follow tutorial and everything worked great at the end (I keep getting a "Missing behaviors for object "Enemies" --- Health" thing popping up after I put the projectiles in but everything is still working 100% regardless so I'll take it as a win, lol). I'm looking forward to continuing onward with trying to make more stuff in GDevelop now that I don't feel as overwhelmed anymore! Fantastic work! :D

First of all, Great work completing the entire tutorial with minimal GDevelop experience! The 'Missing behavior' pop up is from adding the Projectiles Object to the enemy group. Since we don't actually use any 'Health' behaviors on Projectiles - they just die on contact - I didn't add the behavior. The code sees that we Apply Link.Atk points of damage to enemies in our code - so it is stating if our AttackBox were to hit a projectile, then it would not be able to apply damage to the projectile. Technically, this does nothing - so it doesn't affect anything. BUT - Enemies are also given knockback when you hit them, so if you time it right, you can attack a Projectile and it kind of plops onto the floor, where it can still attack you. The best fix would be creating a new group called 'DamageDealers' and put all the things that deal damage into it. Then instead of checking if Enemies Collide with you, you would check if DamageDealers collide with you. Then remove Projectiles from enemies.

Make sure you are setting your Text to the variable that is holding your coin count. Make sure the Event is not restricted by a condition that stops it from updating when needed. You can even do it with no conditions so your text is always updated.
