Veilguard came out recently and all the reviews have done is make me skip it and go back and play the older games. Never finished origins so here I go!

I play as a dwarf noble. I sided with bhelen even he framed me for the murder of Trian although,i never forgive him for what he have done. I give him a second chance its because his my brother and also he will be a good King of orzzamar and also im not interested for being a king.

Actually - if you playing this not being blind or disabled - there are only few places where your paty can be wiped out. Orzammar`s entrance, Dragons, Cauthrien maybe... And even so - if you wouldnt rush - there will be no difficulties. I finished my first solo playthrough when I was around 10(easy difficulty), than I changed it to Nightmare, dit it again and never ever played in party or on lesser difficulties. You should try it a bit - it`s really enjoing... Ofcourse solo would be tougher - you should avoid Ogrs and Toxic spiders(I men the one lived under the Orzammar) - or, at least, been prepared. You shouldnt invest in useless stats(like Strength or Will Power), shouldnt been cheap(mean resistance and heal potions) - and you will be good

Just finished the mass effect series and thought I would hop into this, and god after 10 hours I feel I can say what a fucking awful micromanaging sim. I’m absolutely appalled at how horrendous the combat, skill trees, and AI is. I don’t want to have to pause every 3 seconds to have to win a battle.

I am playing the GOG version in 2024. I have an RTX 3060 and an Intel gen 10 I7 CPU. I have found setting the CPU core affinity to 3 cores makes the game stable for me.

Tobadly this does not work on both steam or origin for me :( I click on the 4gb file to open it and it just opens the same 4gb map and so on and so on :( Does not do anything what you show tobadly

Regarding the crashes in Ostigar, All i did was lower the texture detail from high to medium and everything went smooth from there.

This is where it all started for me. As a middle-schooler getting my parents to buy me this game at the local video game shop. Since then I have gone through Skyrim, the Witcher games (also firm favourites, especially Witcher 2 for me), Assassins Creed (Ezio trilogy only. FTW!) and recently BOTW on the switch as I have no desktop PC currently. Nothing quite hits as hard as the DA:O main theme when *that* bit begins (those that know, know!). From the haunting music on the menu screen, recognising the swords from that menu later on in the game, the atmosphere at the Battle of Ostagar. I could go on. Thank you for reminding me of this great game from what seems like so long ago.

Bro i struggled with this so im thankin you for showing an idiot like me to not have a stroke. Like y'all its my first time playing this game through to this point and ive already messed up saying no to wynne. So its been rough trying to get through this with Morrigan, Sten, the dwarf, and my sword and shield character. Like if i didnt have to load a save that was 10 hours ago to have wynne back id do it in a heartbeat.

Saw an article recently for a game to enjoy if you enjoyed baldurs gate 3 the game was Dragon Age origin, had it in my steam library for years now untouched, decided to give it a shot, needless to say got hooked right away, for a 2009 game it holds up amazingly + the battle system is incredible! Would recommend to anyone.
