What I don't like about Handyman work is I usually have to go back to the hardware store to get something I need and don't have. I remember installing a ceiling fan and it had the two chains for the fan and light. The ceiling in this particular room was higher than normal so the chains had to be extended. So, I had to go back to Home Depo the next day to get chain extensions to finish the job.

Gracias míster, I'm in México watching your vídeo in 2025 I got about a year trying to figure out how to replace my 1999 chevy silverado running bulbs , your vídeo is very helpful, thanks ,gracias amigo , I'm gonna try to do it tomorrow, they were 20 dollars in the USA 🇺🇸 but here in México are very expensive, probably like 100 dollars both , gracias amigo.

If your addition was on the other side of that wall, and as you said the addition is wired with modern grounded romex, could you run a ground from this outlet over to the closest switch or outlet on the addition side?

So I pulled out 3 glass fuses from my panel and didn't realize they were rated differently, how can I tell which sockets are 15a and which are 20a?

I very much appreciate your comment on warming the can. My attempt, it came out in globs and did not spray. I was about to just chuck the can as I'm yelling POS about the product. The video wasn't very clear, couldn't see anything on the wall, but the commentary was what I needed

Also I did buy the hose that is specifically made for buddy heaters that says no filter needed yet I still had the problem with oily substance accumulating inside the heater lines n my heater no longer works
@audreymiller8969Ай бұрын
According to what I've learned it is the chemical that gives propane gas an order that will accumulate inside the hose or inside the heater lines that will cause the heater to not work properly or at all over time.

Just a tip, I ran myn for 30 min changed the oil the. 1 hour changed the oil then 3 hours changed the oil. A little overkill but oil is cheap and you will see how much crap is in there

After installing Z flashing I install 1x4 backing strip between studs if they are 2 ft on center. This provides a place to screw the siding down above and below the joint to prevent future buckling between studs which is generally why people want that unsightly cap board on top.

This is exactly what I did except that I used 5/8" T1-11 siding. It didn't match the existing siding thickness. It caused a few problems particularly for the new trim.

The WIND did it, not the weight of the plywood. The plastic looks VERY sun weathered.

So basically, if you need to cut off electricity in order to do something like replacing a bad light switch, you will have to take out a particular fuse and put it back after you are done with your job?

When you're drilling into the brick and when you are trying to drive the anchor, your drill is making the same sound. This leads me to believe that you either didn't have hammer mode on for both, or you did have hammer mode on for both. You should turn hammer mode off when fastening. If you find the full installation instructions on Tapcon's page, they say not to use hammer mode when fastening.

That must be a shed, it’s 3” off the ground. No wonder it’s rotted, I’m surprised the floor joists aren’t rotted too. Should all be pressure treated.

Nowhere on the cans does it say warm it up. I tried and tried and it just came out blobby or total liquid. I'll never use it, a waste of $15.
