“If I could change the future, I would change the past instead.” The most personally meaningful Boingo lyrics ever written.

Both rhtymically and melodically, this song is just on another level. I cannot think any similar song. It feels much shorter since it is very very fun.

One of my all time favorites to hear live. I was just saying to my husband that I wished he would retool this one for his new band. I would love to hear it again. <3

It's sad that Danny doesn't do it BOINGO syle anymore. His stuff now doesn't even hold a candle next to this. No one plays great music forever...except for The CURE.

Los Angeles rivals - arguably even surpasses - San Francisco and Birmingham, England, when it comes to cities that have produced the greatest rock bands. But, strangely, whenever the classic L.A. bands are listed - The Doors, Guns 'N' Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers - Oingo Boingo never seems to come up. That's really too bad. There's a reason why this song keeps getting played every year at Halloween. Not only is it catchy, but it's timeless; it sounds as if it could have come from any era in rock music. And "Nothing to Fear," "Grey Matter," and "Private Life" have the same haunting, universal quality. DEAD MAN'S PARTY was the first compact disc I ever bought with my own money when I was building up my music collection in the '90s.

One factor that makes "Clowns of Death" so effective is that, despite its title, there isn't even a hint of Barnum & Bailey in it. The clowns literally come out of nowhere! And it's often been said that clowns are the most scary when they appear in places you'd never expect them to be.

I really missed something not seeing these idols live back then, but on the other hand I get to teleport into that awkward teenager's life all over again and just see the happy bits. I love this part of the internet.

This man was my super hero back then, and he's only grown more powerful since then. Now he's kind of a bizarro John Williams and I love it. I just wish I'd gotten to see them live but I was just too far away in northern BC.
