@BCD10 Unfortunately getting the key pieces have been an RNG struggle so I've been focusing on other contents. But at base difficultly he would be dead before he could move. I currently have the build at ~20 million DPS. Check the Maxroll link for a more up-to-date version than the video.

@gittonsxv126 I wish I could offer better solace. Unfortunately, after CoS and CoC were nerfed many people flocked to builds from more popular and knowledgeable content creators than me. Their builds have a lot of gear overlap as mine and prices are no longer cheap for a lot of the equipment.

@@Saintone The "recover % of mana on kill" effect on jewels is so rare btw. The Poe trade site has literally nothing listed with such and i've not seen a single thing close to that on any loot.

So I'm in act 6, lvl 62 or so. I'm wondering when to start thinking about EB and MoM. Is it a question of waiting to get Archmage?

@fubarace1027 At this level just think about Archmage and improving your damage. You'll struggle to sustain EB + MoM that early.

It's most likely because of the hex tree on the passive tree near the start. It adds 100% increased to area of curses! Technically not very good (as well as using Blasphemy in general) but great for lazy folks like me.

Detonate dead helped out tremendously to manage zergs with Arc. It scales off monster HP, so it still does good damage even if you aren't pumping fire.

@Miscellaniaity I ended up just putting a low link Spark in my build! With really high cast speed it's very easy to switch between Spark for trash and Arc for tougher rares and bosses.

I think CI is not an option unless you use Everlasting Gaze. Unfortunately, using CI would mean our only defense is MoM and our mana pool which we're actively blasting through for damage. The Everlasting Gaze build though for sure would use CI and would be preferable for HC.

It's one of the special runes (you can find them at the bottom of the currency exchange if you aren't SSF) that adds 5% to all elemental resistances.

Update: Math is hard and I thought Chain support gem would be a damage increase from level 20 Arc onwards (this was wrong, I'm still learning order of operations in calc in this game). I replaced Chain and Lightning Penetration on Arc with Arcane Tempo and Inspiration. The lowered cost on Arc consumes mana at a similar rate as just putting Inspiration on Mana Tempest. This has less chaining AOE but and but more single-target. The increased cast speed helps compensate for the less chain amounts and the lower cost lets you spam more while mapping. Spark is outright superior for wide-range clear though. Probably worth it to run both.

They are gems related to increasing the size of the curse so that the aura reaches further! Can't use increased effect without increasing the reserve cost.

Good video and well though out build! I would consider running the unique necklace that has a neat interaction with EB and go CI. Chaos res fixed and also gets you a higher ehp pool!

@Percyway 100% if you're planning on HC I would agree that safety is king! But the Everlasting Gaze can't get spell levels, and from 26 to 29 is a 50% difference in base skill damage. For SC it's too much of a loss in addition to any other stats that may be present on the necklace.

How do you have blasphemy and archmage with only 155 spirit? arch=100 blashp=60, 100+60=160?

It's explained in the video (I think)! Raising quality on Blasphemy reduces the reservation by up to 10%, making it cost 54 instead of 60.

remember its a very seasonal game, the devs said themselves they encourage you go play other games and come back later, especially if you dont like a league u just wait until the next. its a videogame they want you to have fun when you are playing their game

Nice vid saint. Learned a lot. I just got to maps and am running spark. Thinking of swapping over to this, I could potential use the skills and passive tree with spark with the exception of those arc specific nodes right? I already used the vaal strategy on a spark gem but I'm open to using arc.

I didn't really play much POE1. Mainly because the idea of playing it without using someone else's guide was too daunting. I didn't want to follow a guide without actually understanding the build that I was playing, rather than retracing someone else's steps. POE2 is a LOT simpler than POE1 in terms of character building, which made it pretty easy for a noob like me to theorycraft a pretty effective straightforward build. This is a long video because I tried to explain what everything does. I'm still making changes to the build every day. I mainly made this 30 minutes before the servers went up a few days ago, so not a huge amount of thought or planning went into it. If you guys have ideas on improving it, I'm all ears. I am still learning too. This build was completely unaffected by the CoS/CoC nerfs. It is intended mainly for late game play (especially maps and onwards) but the core components of it work fine early on during leveling/acts. It's pretty high investment, but as long as Kitoko's exists it should work even with entry level gear and funding. Unfortunately, before acquiring Kitoko's, the build's survivability is highly questionable. It is first and foremost a boss-killing build and a mobbing build secondarily. It's meant to electrocute bosses and then absolutely nuke the ever living hell out of them by abusing the multiple different game multipliers than shock and Sorceress has access to. But without Lightning Rod which is impossibly expensive (400+ex at the time of writing this) there is RNG involved with the damage output since lightning is so volatile.

If the wonky building mechanic wasn't a thing I would like it also, sometimes impossible to place a piece, Then the frustration sets in and you almost rage quit because they don't have a fuking clue on how to make building not be frustrating, They need to play enshrouded so they might be able to see how that part of a game is supposed to work, Really fun game but the building almost makes me want to uninstall.

@gapeto0770 Agreed. Enshrouded had BIS building. I enjoy the house building and interior design a lot in OH but it definitely is rough around the edges in terms of controls. It's better than I'd expect but a little short of being great.
