I was always taught to NOT put the bones or meat in a compost pile which brings critters of the unwanted type. I've also read that citrus fruit does not go in a compost pile. Maybe I've read wrong books. Happy 2024.

That was a fantastic haul … I put 6 of your items on my list 😊. I’ll be making my first order this weekend - so excited to be a part of this community of like minded / healthy people! By the way, how many boys do you have that go through that much mango in a week … that dried mango definitely went on my list! Thanks for sharing ❤

Yes I am! But I also think many people stay away from it because when tested, it contains alot of glyphosate. You know, the Round Up? The organic wheat is better but it is also cross contaminated an awful lot.

Hmmm...Azure asked me how much was usable of my bad box of peaches. So they aren't refunding my whole box. 🤷‍♀️

Both of my last 2 orders that had bad items (lemons, pears) were refunded in full. But to be fair, I had to throw most of it into the compost.

You paid 174.00 for 20lbs of chicken??? What??
@FreedomHomesteaders
@FreedomHomesteaders 9 ай бұрын
Yes. Comes out to about $8 a pound. I realize this might be a bit much, but the chicken in my grocery store does not seem as fresh. I am saving so much with Azure that I do not mind spending the $8 for a really nice bird that was pasture raised and treated humanely <3 See link for the chicken I purchase: www.azurestandard.com/shop/product/food/meat-poultry/chicken/whole/whole-chicken-pasture-raised-no-cornsoy-frozen-organic-random-weight/11704?package=MT012

I love Azure! Why don't you order the larger size coconut oil? I like to get the gallon size. If you're buying the case of 32 oz jars, it's almost $80. The same volume (3 one gallon jars) could be costing you only $50. You're probably paying more to ship the case of glass jars as well.

Recently they sent me a survey with questions regarding transitioning items from plastic to glass. I personally prefer plastic packaging in most cases, (seriously, so much glass breaking here lately!) but it sounds like you may have more options in the future. :)

@@friendlymommaa lot of people don’t have that problem. We rarely ever broke glasses in our house growing up. I don’t know, we were just trained to take extra care when dealing with glass and it just became second nature. My mother started letting us use glasses since really young to learn how to deal with glass and we never had to buy plastic cutlery, cups, plates because we worry about them breaking.
@friendlymomma
@friendlymomma 9 ай бұрын
Cool. I also keep wondering what you all DO with all those jars! I myself am swimming in jars (that's partly why they are getting broken...because we have so many that I don't have room for them all). If this vlogger is going through THAT many nice jars per month, she has to be swimming in jars too. Unless she has found a place to recycle glass???? My town doesn't have recycling. And even if they did, I wouldn't trust that the things I put in recycling bins were actually getting recycled.
