If anyone wants to know: 1B l/y in 60 sec is Warp Factor 80,702.1525. And because accelerating and decelerating from that speed in a second or two is so hazardous, you don't see anyone on the bridge drinking coffee from an open top cup (It just wouldn't make any sense)

Such a great episode but funnily enough Data doesn't bleed, we've seen him be decapitated, have Jordi open his skull, lose part of his face in the episode Thine own self, nothing happens all we see is that Soong was a massive fan of RGB.

Sorry to say that it looks like the channel my be going down after the latest videos due up next week have had copyright claims against them. There is nothing different about the format or length of the edits but this could lead to the closing down of the the channel. I have appealed the decision but don't whole out any hope at the moment.

Yes, it is from The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare, Star Trek has always had a liking for the Bard as I do myself and others, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness” but that quote is attributed to Oscar Wilde. The writers played with a lot of the literary greats over the years, but what about, "There's no such thing as the unknown- only things temporarily hidden, temporarily not understood" - James Tiberius Kirk. It's all down to the minutes and me trying to keep the time under 6 mins, because that seems to be were KZbin or CBS start putting worldwide blocks on the moments. Every video has a copyright strike, but it seem as if they allow me to use small 5-6 mins edits but no more. And they take any revenue and advertise on the video page. I don't make a penny, never have.

Such a great episode! Would have been cool to see some continuation where he’s still dealing with the trauma. Not that he needed to do it, but I thought it was great to see Levar’s acting chops. I did hate that Data casually walks to the cargo bay to stop Geordi after his order to Worf. Haha!

Good point, he didn't seem to be in much of a hurry to get there and stop Geordi, must have trusted Worf to get the job done. Data must be a boss that likes to legislate.

loved when the wave hits the Enterprise, the ship tilts violently, the bridge lights by the turbolifts immediately go from yellow to red and the rear bridge stations all go black.

This episode inspires us to be a creepy dude, who gets romantic with a real person's avatar without that person knowing. Then, gaslighting the real her, and turning the tables where we will spin our creepiness into it being her fault for not being okay with it, because we were so nice to her... where nice meant, we worked in out in our head we'd be gettin' some and we'd become a couple! "Hey baby, come to my quarters later, have I got sum scungilli for YOU." "That's my favorite!" "Is that so?"... Ehhhhhh!!! Geordi making our skin crawl!!! He may as well have wrung his hands and laughed diabolically. "Muhhah haha hahaaaa! I'll be waiting, dressed in my off-duty, dressed to get some, creepy dude duds." Part of what's most disturbing about Georgi in this episode, is he bullies her into making an apology for treating him like the creep he was! The most she owed an apology for, was she was rather nasty out of the gate, whining about "her engines". The rest of it, Geogi should have been fired! Leaving him looking for work in the engine rooms of Orion Slaves Ships. After this episode, the only way to keep liking Geordi, was to blame the writers for doing the character so wrong!!!
