You can use each and every stropping compound I've seen wet, why do you think you can't?

Nice job! I’m considering doing something like it with my S1. Love the knife, hate the handle:).

You tried to visually and anatomically transform a trap into a Casström knife. I honestly don't understand the reason but I think the trapper has a very good grip. In the blade you have, there is provision by the manufacturer with the two front holes for a shorter or longer handle, something you did.

Omg. I just got my Fallkniven F1X Elmax Tungsten knife and as much I like the handle it would have been times better if it was made out of wood. So the first thought that came to my mind was to swap the handle with wooden one at some point. After watching your video I know I will have to do this :) The result is amazing - youe knife has waaaaay bigger personality now. Thanks very much!

Thanks! I admit that now, after months of use, the handle is still in great condition and very comfortable. The blade is still very, very effective in cutting and carving. Thanks for whatching!

Great video! The leather tool to punch the long hole for the leather spacers is a CREW PUNCH. You can make a basic one with a small round metal pipe & a vice....just a little trial and error to work out the size needed to get the length & width. HOPE YOU WORE A FACE MASK WHEN USING THE BELT SANDER...! Leather dust is EXTREMELY CARCINOGENIC = similar risk to ASBESTOS.

Not really a coating on the knife tho. Just a product of the multi heat treatment they do on them that they dont remove or polish out.

Its a nice kit, I carry very similar things but not in a pouch, either on my belt, in my wallet or bag. A coarse flat dmt pocket stone, carpenters scraper, spare zippo flints, and wicks, and mini steel hone in my wallet. On my belt, the leatherman tti like you, with a torch on one side and firesteel on the other side of the leatherman pouch, in the insert pocket I add a few straws of flammable cotton balls. I don't need a compass anymore because I have trained in how to feel the north south alignment using the body itself. Don't really need a watch most of the time either, it's either light enough to see, or it isn't. I keep as in my other comment, a hollow kubaton of needles, for leather and others. In my bag I usually carry a pen, pencil and small folding fan, usb battery pack and short lead plus adapter. I used to have a fresnel lens in my walllet, But as a smoker I carry a lighter most of the time and plus the cotton balls, it's never been needed for fire anyway. I would use an old fashioned nylon printed fabric measuring tape, about 5 feet long but rolls up very very small. In other places depending on where I am, I also have a tapered diamond, and small ceramic rod, I like your diamond better though with the flat sides on it too. The ceramic hone is a rough one but perfect for removing burr. I got it from a japanese angled sharpening device meant to clip onto chefs knives, it comes with two ceramic rods...very cheap, very effective. As for zip ties and cordage, never seem to need zip ties but I'm often found with cordage some how being carried...lol I like the leather square idea though, might try that one for a while...

Hi! Thanks a lot for your sharing. Very interesting for me. The main point I see is that apparently we have approached the items coming from Very close prospective, even if we choose slightly different Item and a different way to carry them. To be honest every time I'm in the wild I use a sistem of belt pouches to carry my essential tools/goods. But this pouch serve me in all the other more "grey" situations. Thanks agaifor your sharing, deeply appreciate!

Can you share your source for the needle container please? I have one similar but longer than necessary as the hollow kubaton that was sold with 4 bo shuriken spikes originally. The container is nice and has went with me everywhere but it's longer than it needs to be, that one you have looks much nicer and a better length too.

Hi there! For the last 10 years if anyone asked me about a Sebenza I replied something "I do not need it" "I can by at least 3 knife for one of that"... But.. but.. as you can see... I changed my mind. This month is my was my last month of missions on "hot theater" so I decide to celebrate my next step if my life with something special. I'll test it deeply. And I'll try to give back to you my I impressions. Let me know your experience or what you are curious about it!!
