@varstromebikeconversion583719 сағат бұрын
In theory, as long as the battery line sequence matches the controller line sequence, the voltage also needs to match.

I think your videos are great, they helped me choose which bicycle engine to buy. I opted for a TSDZ2B 48V 500Watt, 42T, with the VLCD5 display. But I think this display is too big and without any design. Could you recommend me something more "minimalist" similar to those BAFANG minis, which has 6 pins and is compatible with my engine? Thank you very much and keep producing great videos!!!!

Im really glad you done this video. I really wanted to see the motor taken apart to see if there was any difference between the terribly flimsy tsdz2 motor. It seems they have copied much of the bbs02 which should make it more durable. I don't like how they have kept the same torque sensor and method of securing the main gear and shaft with circlips and a bearing either side. They should have used bafangs method of thrust bearings either side and the two locking nuts. This is a much more secure way in my opinion. Thanks fot for the video 👍

Hey there Varstrom. I have just purchased a new ekd01 for my TSDZ8 from yourself via Amazon. Can you please tell me what cable I need to change my 8pin vlcd5 display as all the 1to4 cables have male 8pin but to fit the TSDZ8 I need a female 8pin 1to4 as the cable coming from my motor is a recessed male connection. Hi Team, being torque senor motor we don't need gear shift sensor and any break sensors ? I assume that the moment we stop pedaling we can use the breaks and they will not interfere the work of the motor? And also to switch gear we just need to provide a little torque but it would not be enough damage the chain for example? Thanks and keep the good work )))
@varstromebikeconversion58373 ай бұрын
Hi there, both of your points are correct. The torque sensing motor can be used with or without a brake disconnect wire,but our kit includes a brake disconnect wire。and considering that if the motor is inthrottle mode, the brake motor will still have power when the brake is pressed, for safety and security reasons, I still installed the brake disconnect wire.
@varstromebikeconversion58373 ай бұрын
Also, your second point is true. But I'm a DIY guy, haha, I like to put everything on my bike and make it a luxury version.The kit does not include a shift sensor, but if the motor is high power such as 1000 watts, it is recommended to install a shift sensor.😄

Hi there. Love you're content & currently waiting for my TSDZ8 to be delivered tomorrow hopefully. I want to ask you if you know would I be able to use my "ebike" UKC1 display with the TSDZ8 as the kit I bought comes with the vlcd5. I have the UKC1 as well as a M6C, kt-lcd8c, kt-lcd7c, sw900. I already have a 1-5 cable & a motor programming cable if I'm going to need it. I just realised that a few of your videos that you have "ebike" screen come up when you first turn on the display. Hence my asking about the UKC1 I have. Thank again & I appreciate any help or advice. 🙏🏻👍🏼

Hello friend, regarding the use of ukcd1, you need to check whether the connection line between the instrument and the TSDZ8 controller matches, then check whether the order of the pins matches, and finally check whether it complies with the Tongsheng protocol.

In fact, it's not better all around, and you can check out the follow-up video I've already uploaded. The TSDZ8 is currently cheaper and I think the TSDZ8 would be better if you only consider the product level. Of course, the TSDZ8 doesn't give the kind of ample instant power that the BBS02B does.
