Thank for your video ! Is it possible to make a video for mouting this BBS02 on a bike using a shimano press-fit bottom bracket ? This one used a BSA standard bracket, sometime the press-fit use a different diamater of bottom bracket, so we don't know if we have to put a specific ring adaptor, or not ?! what tools we need ? how to do ? etc ... Mayb a video can explaining more details for us, this can be a good idea Maybe a video about issue of chainring in some bike too, how to calibrate the chainring correctly, how to adapt desalignment etc ... For exemple, for my bike the 44T is too close of the body of my bike... and the others chainring i can find on internet have random offset, how to know which one is good for us, how to calculate offset we need ?! All this need a great detailed video

Hi there,are you using a press fit centre shaft from a shimano BB92? The inner diameter may be 41-42mm, if so you will need to add a sleeve. Regarding the chainring video, I think I'll make an instalment soon explaining it, including recommendations for currently available chainrings with offsets.

Hi, @@varstromebikeconversion5837 Finnaly, i don't really know if my bottom bracket is pressfit or not ... on the internet I find contradictory information, and on the manufacturer's website I find nothing concrete! probably many variant produt with the same name ?! idk Anyway this video can be a really good idea for sure ! A video explaining what offset we need for what situation can be great too ... for my parts, i think the 44T maybe don't fit on my bike, the theeth of the chainring probably going to hit the body of my bike (or going to be tooooo close to it) and i'm not sure what chainring i have to choose :( So this can be a good idea for helping massive people. i'm waiting your videos ^^

Are the power drive sprockets all 8 speed? No 10 speed?
@varstromebikeconversion58376 ай бұрын
If you are looking for flywheel performance and use a normal chain ring and crank, it can support up to 9 speeds, and once it is larger than 9 speeds, the chain will be at risk of falling off. If you use chain ring and crank with offset, it can support 10 and 11 speeds. 11 speed is the theoretical limit.

Can be mounted on a fat e-bike for more power?
@varstromebikeconversion58375 ай бұрын
The fat bike is just one factor, probably you also need to take into account the terrain you are travelling on, your weight, your load capacity, your driving habits (whether you like to keep hitting extreme speeds or enjoying the scenery in a smooth manner). Many times I think 750W is enough, but some people will prefer the punch of 1000W (rated power).

Why it is so expensive, is there a method to buy the kit without battery?
@varstromebikeconversion58376 ай бұрын
Of course you can, if you have batteries, or have a preferred battery supplier, all you need to do is buy the motorkit, which we have on our website: www.varstrom.com, and for youtube followers, we have an additional offer, just contact our customer service to claim it.
