Very emotional , What an amazing sight and sound and a fitting tribute to such an awesome band . Thank You Runrig .

Ok, I know that unfortunately runrig, now do not play as a band, which is disappointing, but what does this song mean to me. Well without recriminations this is my story, I was a soldier serving in benbecula, in the late 80's early 90's, somehow the Hebrides without me knowing came a part of me, met a beautiful local girl, it felt right and true, my heart lifted by not only this sweetheart, but also the rustic and wildness of the islands. Now probably know where thos story goes, unfortunately it did not work for her, with time passed I understand that being young did not want to marry me. So so, this song encapsulates that I am still dreaming of the Hebrides and the girl I lost. X

I was there, oh my goodness, this just makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, just a fantastic piece of guitar playing,. The whole gig was incredible. Runrig are the classic masters of what I can only describe as "Jock Rock" and are sadly missed.

My first wife turned me onto Runrig back in the early 80s. Been following them every since. I introduced my current wife to Runrig in 2000. When she found they were doing their last concert on her birthday, she was determined we would be in Stirling for it. It was a long flight from California to Scotland, but it was coming home and so worth it. Runrig lives on.
