Hi, I know! I'll start to shoot new videos on my new build(RedSea Reefer G2 300). In this hobby sometimes you get slow and stop, although, I've been adding new corals and etc., but not like before. My Nuvo 40(the one I've done videos on)developed a leak on the front panel and that's what triggered my new tank build coming up. 👍 Eddie

Hi @malloryorchard.5642, when you start to fill the main display tank you will notice the water will start to enter the back chamber as it reaches the level on the display. Eddie

Hi, first thanks for contacting me for info. These Gorgonians are found in most LFS, but I would get the ones that are photosynthetic, because when it comes to these you have to feed them a lot. When it comes to feeding this could raise your NO3 and PO4. Eddie

Hi I have 3 of these coming in and one already. I am worried that I wont be able to keep alive but coudlnt resist cheap bid I won them for! Anyway the problem is I dont think I have strong flow towards bottom of tank because wavemakers are on top and low flow on bottom. Looks like your tank is set the same. Most people set that way especially if they have sps H0w are you keeping them alive if they need a tank set like that?

Hi karennation3580, first I don't have them anymore, but when it comes to Gorgonians always get the photosynthetic ones. These which are non-photosynthetic are hard to keep and you must feed them a lot thus raising your NO3 and causing issues as a whole. Eddie

I am moving over zoas from my main tank to a new frag tank. They will be the first frags going in there! I am not sure how to handle it matching the lighting ect. I f it were shipped it would to acclimation but my frag tank has pretty much the same par everywhere because of the rack! I am in a big mess. I have to many corals coming in and not enough room in my tanks! I idint even consider that this is a new frag tank! I am only moving zoas though so hopefully it wont go as bad!

Hi KarenNation3580, when it comes to corals and acclimation the new data is to placed them where they are going to go no matter if PAR values are different. What I would do is; 1. Place them on the substrate for a period of time 2. if you have lights that have an acclimation mode use for say 30 days. COMING SOON: My 40 gal developed a leak on the bottom front panel so I decided to purchase a Red Sea Reefer G2 300 in which I will be back doing videos on the new build. Be looking out for the start 👍👍Eddie

Montipora is one coral I struggle growing. Ive only had some that survived once for a few months but eventually died also. I think the two main steps are water quality & lighting.
