Eddie- This is a brilliant idea. I really don’t want to add kalk to my top off reservoir because I understand it could put wear and tear on the pump. Thanks for sharing this.

I had a similar issue recently and I corrected it by opening the windows on a comfortable day to let in some fresh air raising the oxygen level inside. The ph came right up to 8.2.

Thanks and welcome, when it comes to the Kalk solution what you have to do is check your pH accordingly and adjust the dose. I was going by the instructions on the Kalk for my tank, but you should do a slow drip. Eddie

When I blow in the tube to start drip the pressure just comes back out the tube

Hi Mopar, just make sure the valve is open so it starts and then adjust your drip.
