I am left to wonder so many things, like how many colonists they had over the course of this, and how much wealth did the colony have at the end, and what difficulties a colony like this may have ever faced?

Lucky for you, I have answers to all of this! Unfortunately for you, its spread out over a 50 minute video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3rKhoyPrdt_q5Y Quick answers are, not many deaths, about 20 or so that were permanent. The amount of wealth was nuts, but I dont have an exact figure, but I am sure I show it in the video. Difficulties were almost entirely just due to the size of things. Framerates at the end were like 7fps so things took a very long time to progress, and setting up all the *everything* to try to get the most effective pathfinding as I could was a ton of work. The single biggest challenge was having to build and play in a way that would work with the timelapse I was making. All "changes" had to be done "in frame" and I had no idea where the frame would actually be until everything was done and I was editing so I had to try to keep a mental map of exactly where I was expecting my timelapse view to be at any given moment so that everything would be seen even if most of the time most of the map is not seen.

Hey man. I was just watching your RollerCoaster Tycoon playlist. specifically watching Bumbly Beach. I have just seen that the Bumbly Beach video is set to 'Private', and I assume all the Tycoon videos are as well since I can't see it on the channel. Is this a perma thing or will it be back? I really like the series and I hope it returns. Edit: I have just found out that future videos are stopping and that your about me section is "I was never very good at this.". By watching the Tycoon series, You have a very calm and clear voice and you talk slower compared to other people in which I very much enjoy. Throughout the Tycoon videos, You talk like your live commenting and then having a conversation to the audiance in which I also like. It shows that you are always engaging with the audiance. To me it seems like you are very good at making videos when you are talking as they are very engaging.

The best thing about these games imo is that you really feel the progress, and it's clear how it depends on more/better energy production. What RimWorld does well is the trading system and competition for resources,

I have tried recently but it is starting to feel a bit dated due to some quality of life things and no modding scene to fix them. I would highly recommend Kingdoms Reborn. It is very banished like but with a larger world, other cities, multiplayer/coop, the ability to have multiple cities going at one time in a world and lots more. Very fun and I would highly recommend it.

I forget what the fine size was since it was custom. It was some weird number that I picked to best work for a timelapse to best match screen resolution, which is why the map is not a square.
