Scott Manley Welcome Scott, you are the last person I ever expected to see around here. If I had to guess, somewhere between 200-300 attempts. I was at it for about 6 hours, first attempting to land it on the ground, which was quite easy once I got the hang of it, but the rooftop turned out to be the real challenge. Are you up for a challenge? I'd love to see you take it on.

Flip it upside down, then pull up? That sounds easy, but I don't get how that works without the craft flipping out, maybe the new aerodynamics model, nice anyway though.

NuclearKnight That was the main goal, but getting all the variables just right is quite hard. I've had a couple of helipad landings, but something always smacks off the ground a little to hard.

Gabriele Princiotta Should be possible as long as I could bleed off enough speed, but I would need a new aircraft. Ill work on it, and if I get anywhere with it Ill have it posted :)

Gabriele Princiotta Turns out the craft I used for this, works perfectly for the Pugachev cobra maneuver, and I was able to land on the runway with it. Its 100% possible to land on the VAB, but Id be in the same situation as I was for this video, having to try to get all my axis lined up just right and preforming the maneuver at the perfect split second to land in the correct spot. Ill attempt it a hand full of times, but I don't know if I will be attempting it until until I succeed. My main issue will be that breaks on the landing gear I am using are not great, and the maneuver drops me down to about 25m/s, which still means I need a few plane lengths for the breaks to stop me completely.
