We love people with open soul. There was no racism in Russia, we had some stupid people for sure, but not much... the good examples are Pushkin and Major-General Abram Petrovich Gannibal. From Russia with love ❤

I mean let's tell the truth there's a thug on every street corners in Savannah. Let's tell the truth it's blacked run government so let's say you're a law-abiding citizen and a robber steals a gun out of your car you get arrested because you didn't lock your door. That's right the projects are downtown in the city so there's no white people who actually live here it's all ghetto. And yeah the black owned restaurants in the city well you really don't want to eat there either because you know besides the health violations of these restaurants you'll get sick too😂🎉😂🎉

Thanks for posting this. My wife is Russian and from St. Petersburg she has been trying to get me to come with her to visit her family whenever she goes back, I had been hesitant, but after talking to and seeing more videos from Black people who actually live there I'm starting to feel a little better about going with her sometime.

It's racist to say "they are not my kind, so they cannot appreciate my culture" it's the same kind of mentality that keeps humans in fear and paranoia of those who don't look like them.

I agree....like 90%. Not having a passport at all tells me you'remore closed minded (or afraid of the world or xenophobic) then I like..and those who are young trying to see all countries just to say they did it... even DANGEROUS places no one should go? Yeah, I'm judging. But regular slow/fast, it's all gravy, just go out and see some things!

I live in Russia. In one of the cities of Siberia. Although there are 600 thousand people in my city, but even in our city I have seen African Americans a couple of times. About racism in Russia: It just doesn't exist. Because Russia is a multinational country where every citizen respects and appreciates the views of every person. We have complete pluralism in all plans. Although many people think that there is no tolerance in Russia, I can upset you! Russia has the most tolerant citizens. There is not a single person who has been harassed for their skin color, religion, any views, and even LGBT people.

“Zwarte Piet”(Black Pete) has several origins. The oldest of these have nothing to do with Santa Claus: 1. The Sack Man (the man with the bag) is a tradition of over 1000 years old, existing all over the world, from Argentina to Vietnam. His face was painted black. 2. The devilish black man like Ruprecht. Also in the form of a Santa Claus (Ru-Klaus). Was a tradition of over a 1000 years all over Europe and even beyond (like in Persia, where he later appeared with a Santa Claus figure!). 3. Some centuries ago many Santa Clauses all over Europe appeared with a shackled (black painted) devilish man, to tame the devil. 4. In many old images, Piet is imaged like a “page” (a squire). You will find this image on many coats of arms all over Europe until the 14th century. A proud warrior with earrings and a hat. Slaves did not have jewelry nor clothes - they were taken away from them. 5. Jan Schenkman re-introduced Santa Claus in his book from 1850, when the Catholics were allowed to celebrate this feast again after it was forbidden for 2 centuries. He had a helper, who was his equal. They both drove a horse on the roofs, they both distributed presents. 6. Jan Schenkman was a member of the Maatschappij tot nut van het Algemeen, which was pro abolitionism (against slavery). 7. Schenkman’s helper can be traced back to Italian traditions, where Santa Claus had a Moorish helper.

Thanks for bring us the truth of life in modern Orthodox Christian Russia. The Eastern Orthodox church. of influence to modern Russians, is the original and most authentic branch of Christianity. As opposed to the Western Catholic Church, an evil, bastardized Western European entity, known by the holy bible as "The Whore of Babylon" it was the entity that approved our enslavement at the time of Pope Nicolas! (Satan Nick). The Eastern Orthodox church found in Ethiopia, Russia/Slavic Eastern Europe, Syria, Egypt is THE TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST. It seems God is with the Russians in this new David vs, Goliath fight of Good over Evil. 10 to 1 is MURDER!!!

Wow! Much negativity can be found in Russia and among the Russians, but establishing a durable myth that Russia is susceptible to Nazi propaganda takes effort. The Soviet people were inoculated against Nazism at the cost of 27,000,000 lives. Nazis in Russia have always been marginal, scorned individuals who do not emerge from their hiding places.

Hi. You have a very wrong idea about Russia and Russians, however, it is understandable, you have been hearing fairy tales from your media for many years about a terrible and terrible Russia! I live in Murmansk, beyond the Arctic Circle, in an apartment building. I have a whole yard of such houses, one of my neighbors in the yard is a dark-skinned guy, and you, in comparison with him, are very light. This guy is very sociable and responsive, so we don't notice him as a dark-skinned. He's just one of us! There are a lot of foreigners in our city who are very different from the indigenous population of Russia, but it doesn't matter. The important thing is that a person is the same as everyone else. Whoever he is - a Chinese, an Englishman, a Malay or an Egyptian, if he does not try to appear the best, then he will be treated very well, he will be helped in a difficult moment and, even if he does not ask for help, his difficulties will be noticed and he will be helped. I do not dispute that we also have those with whom we do not want to meet, but believe me, it is difficult to meet such people! Good luck!

Interresting. Russia is on my list of places. It is a differnet world. Being white I wondered about my first trip to Africa (Ghana) where whites in many places, especially outside the capital people may rarely if ever see a white person which they may only have seen on TV, how they would react. It was similar to how you described Russians towards you. Friendly and mostly looks of curiosity especially the kids. What's more interresting is I watched the US Movie "Ruby Bridges" with a friend there and I had to actually explain racism as he couldn't understand why they were so mean to her.
