I know my comment is a little late but I was born & still live in the Caribbean. What people don't realise is that travelling from island to island is very pricey and although many people do suggest a cruise, it is roughly one day to try to see as much of the destination as possible. I would love to do a cruise someday as here (Barbados) serves as one of the major departure ports but for now, I wish to travel through and see as much of the Caribbean as I possibly can. I have done St. Vincent & Bequia very recently & visited St.Lucia and Trinidad when I was much younger. I am 27 now. Every year, the travel bug is biting me, what tips would you offer me as one of my dreams is to see as many Caribbean islands as possible?

Hey Oneika, I'm trying to get to St. Petersburg, Russia (but I'll go to Moscow if I can't get to my first choice), but I see you have to pay well over 100 USD to get there and have to go through a Visa application process. Considering you're Canadian, the procedure may be different, but was it easy to get there? I'm from the States but live in Germany with a German Work Visa.

I went to the Russian Consulate in Hong Kong and paid about $80 USD! The application was a bit of a pain but it was worth it!
