Please straighten out your left finger or you will really be hurting later on. If you have a straight forefinger, you adjust your tension easier by raising or lowering your finger. It’s a lot kinder on your hand.

I wouldnt recommend JuJu Knits. I went in there with a friend and a young lady that was knitting with the owner and her friends in their little couch circle made a comment about bargain yarn (like what you get in Walmart, etc). That owner of JuJu knits posted on her FB page a rant basically telling people don't come up in her shop talking about bargain yarn. Lol I was like wow!! So you have to watch your mouth around that woman. Just because someone mentioned a bargain yarn she went off like that. I will never go in there again.

Thank you for the Video. Is there a possibility to go back and forth with this stich?. I don’t need it for a blanked, but for a yoke of a cardigan.

Tiffany, do you block each square upon completion? My #2 square is a good inch smaller on all sides than my other squares? Would blocking help stretch it out? Or, I may return do it and add some extra chains to the beginning chain. Any advice?

Could you make this into a skirt? Im thinking do the ribbing first and then make the flower parts? If you measured the waist size and divided it into the 12 stitch swatch so if you had a 36 cm waist, that would be three x twelve etc..., Then after the ribbing start on the flowers and ending the skirt in the double crochet, single crochet rows? You could do one peice and then join at the seam? Am I forgetting something? Its a beautiful pattern, i can see my granddaughter in a skirt like this, or jacket emblazoned with flutterbies 🦋🦋🦋, thanks Tiffany 😊❤

This is the sweetest! Thanks, Tiffany. How, about a patchwork blanket of different colored giant squares? That's what I would do out of a soft washable merino.

This is such a great piece! I am getting ready to crochet it from this tutorial. I am sort of new to crocheting and I am wondering about gauge... I just learned that it is very important... My friend said I should do a small piece to check my gauge before doing the real piece?? Should I do that? and how do I do that? Thank you! 🙂

Hi There! I am so excited for you to check out this awesome world of crochet!! Careful, it sucks you in and before you know it you have yarn everywhere. 😂. I love this top and wear it all the time. I did design it to be big and loose fitting. I believe I have dimensions in the pattern you can gauge off of. If you would like to make a swatch first to check that your stitch tension is on track with mine, I did just recently grab swatch information for someone else. I’ll make sure that information is available in the description section of the video tomorrow. I hope it helps! I can’t wait for you to make this project. Be prepared, I’ve heard many people end up making more than one. 😂💖🧶

Loved you dog sweater video! I made my first for my Girl Elke. She just like yours. She’s a cream LH weeny. I kept measuring as I went along. It turned out really cute. I’m getting ready to make 2 more one for my other Girl Lizbeth (another cream LH) and another one for my boy Kaiser who is a mini SH. He’s a lot littler. Because we tend to walk them with harnesses, I will put in my next 2 small holes in the middle top right between the collar and the body of the sweater and I know that will be extremely easy. Thank you for your thorough guidance within your tutorial. I am also looking to use your video to make some chainmail-like crocheted sweaters for all of them so they will look like knights of the round table. I can’t wait to see how they turn out. Thank you again 😊

This has always been one of my favourite stitches for scarves. I do, however, take the easy step and just put both the SC Ch3 and the 3DCs into the 3Ch space. I like the wave effect this gives on the other side.
