Surely there will be a way to defeat this in the ECM or entertainment module (it used to only mean Engine Control Module). But all that other shit costs money, the sensors, the mics - the module. Guess who is paying for that and watch those sensors can probably get wonky and cause all kinds of problems. Imagine your mechanic telling you your advertising sensor is broken and its gonna cost $250 to get you back on the road.

i don't listen to the Paul DiAnno era much at all. Just the Bruce era. In the past year, i started delving into middle of their history, as far as albums go. i listened to Brave New World, and The Final Frontier and Dance of Death albums. I also listened to A Matter of Life and Death. of course, there are a lot of underrated songs on these albums. The Talisman, When the Wild Wind Blows, The Nomad, The Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Journeyman, No More Lies, Lord of Light, Coming Home, Brave New World, etc.

The Clansman is my favourite Blaze Bayley era song even though Virtual XI is my least favourite album from them, I feel like unless I'm listening through their albums I always just happen to listen to that song. I also quite like Don't Look To The Eyes Of A Stranger but at the same time feel like it doesn't fit for Iron Maiden.

The band needs to just tour with all the songs they never play off all their albums (i.e every song off Piece of mind except “the trooper” or every song off ‘Fear of the dark” except the title track or even “No prayer for the dying” but that’ll be every song)

Good video, but I don’t consider the base C8 a supercar. I do think the Z06, particularly in full track configuration, could qualify. The C8 ZR1 definitely will be. Why not on the base model? Too slow, too affordable, too common, and much less exotic drivetrain than the Z06. And I’m rounding up on the Z06. I don’t even consider my 992 Manthey GT3 to be a supercar. It’s a stellar track monster. I’d say my GT2RS is the only 911 supercar variant, but some would still debate that. Having just bought a 488 Pista, that is the embodiment of a true supercar (with maybe the exception of the doors being basic). Passion, insane performance, sound, mid engined uber Ferrari track monster. It’s 1-2% slower on a circuit than a GT2RS, but it screams supercar, even when sitting still. I agree that looks matter, but I also think price should at some point. Definitely nothing under $150-200K, and not over $1M (that’s a hypercar). That doesn’t mean something else can’t have supercar performance, but still not fully qualify. Finally, on the power front, I think a supercar should not weigh much more than 5 lbs / horsepower at the crank. That’s a better metric than overall horsepower.

Any sportscar I can't afford that is faster than something I can afford is a supercar. There are A LOT of supercars in my book

Let’s face it: Nicko is 72, Steve is almost 70, the rest of the band are in their mid 60s. If there is some time left for them is little. Been a Maiden fan for 38 yrs, I will be very sad the moment comes, but noone should have high hopes.

Yeah great news from Steve about new tracks and tours if i remember just before senjutsu came out i saw an interview with Adrian Smith and when asked about a new album he said what new album shortly after that senjutsu was out so you never know

If a 50th Anniversary tour doesn't happen I will buy a hat and I will eat it! There's no way Maiden won't do anything for that milestone. I doubt it will happen but some songs I would like to hear on the 50th tour: Dream of Mirrors, Man on the Edge, Paschendale, Futureal, Judas Be My Guide, Killers, Purgatory, Sea of Madness (I'm rather sad they haven't played that on The Future Past Tour so far), Brighter Than a Thousand Suns, Empire of the Clouds... There's so many, man! Again it will never happen but imagine hearing Ancient Mariner and then Empire of the Clouds back to back! 🤯

Nobody wants the whole thing to end up as a band with no original members who play boring versions of songs from the good old days.

I heard Bruce in an interview say he’d love to do a tour where they play all the epics. I’d love if they could pull off Empire of the Clouds on the next or future tour.

I think planning out your schedule two years in advance is crazy. I had to purchase my IM tix for November this time last year and felt strange doing it. And I'm way younger than the band.

I think a 50th anniversary tour is likely, but it'd be nice if we could another studio album sooner than later. If the next album comes out in 2026, that would be a five-year gap between 'Senjutsu' (2021) and the supposed new album. Granted, better than six years, but with the band members getting older, time is precious and who knows what could happen in the next couple of years. Plus, it would be cool for them to go on tour promoting new material. However, if they do this 50th anniversary tour without a new album (which will probably be the case), I would love for Iron Maiden to bring back stuff from 'Dance of Death' (2003), which I've been digging a lot recently.

This video hasn't aged well. There will be no additional tour dates in 2024. Had there been more shows, they would have been announced at least by the time this video was made.
