Brother, I don’t know if you read these messages. But people like Prophet Mohammad and his Sahaba. I think it might not be who we think they are. What if all those people you “worship” (I know we don’t worship them, but we follow them so blindly almost like they are gods) are just people who has their own motive and their own agenda and due to our limited vision we take them as idols instead of actually understanding that they are , just stories. They are people just like the rest of us but who were successful in their own agenda or mission. It’s kind of like reading about a successful person today, 2000 years from now they will be idolized and worshipped without even questioning if they are just people with their own unique path. Assalamualaikum Ustaz Ihsan, what is your opinion on people who missed their fardhu prayers deliberately for 15-20 years and wanted to repent and return to Islam and Allah again. Do they have to do sincere repentance and qada for all the missed prayers or do they have to do sincere repentance followed by sunnah nawafil prayers to counter the accumulated sins?

It's a nice idea that god loves us.even as GoD creates and destroys infinite number of universes.

Since embracing Islam, I have been adopting the unlearning and understanding of true submission and worship and the statement you made that Allah created us for worship which means that that's how we receive sustenance, so simple, so resonant. The conditioning that our Creator is a greedy Creator or a demanding Creator is so deeply engrained in our psyches in the west, alhamdulillah for the transmission of tawhid.
