He's a talented man no doubting it. What mouthpiece is he using in this, anyone know.

Can someone explain how to do "A" and "T" properly?

Just blow in the mouthpiece, don't use you tongue to start or stop it and make it short and heavy

I have playing on a Shires large bore F-attachment trombone since 2007, and recently got another bell (rose brass, to contrast with my gold brass bell). I been wondering about the pros and cons about trying a Shires small bore trombone. I am surprisingly happy still with my edgy 1961 Conn 6H, but sometimes wonder if I should branch out from there. Sadly, I'm not sure about where to even go to try Shires' trombones. Steve Ferguson's "Horn Guys" stores no longer sell that brand (weird reason given to me). Heard there might be a store in Anaheim. Sad that So. Cal. would not have a major store selling trombones from this great company. I've had mixed luck with mics when recording trombone, both with brands and trying to figure out how far to place it from my bell, and how to point to the mic. What mic are you using? And kudos on your playing. You have quite amazing ability to jump multiple octaves with so much ease. Seems your "endless" warm-ups play a major role in that. Take Care, Arnie skyswim.com/

Oh my god I am so out of shape Couldn't even make it through the first 2 exercises However, the thought that I could sound this good one day drives me to keep going. Unfortunately, due to being in pain, I'm gonna have to call it for today. I'll be back and better than ever tomorrow

Hey! I have a couple of questions since I'm a beginner to trombone. 1. When playing legato on the trombone, do you use no tongue at all or just a little bit of tongue? I have played a lot of trumpet, and there you don't have to use tongue when playing legato, but I feel like it's different on trombone since you have to move the slide? 2. How important are air attacks to have in your daily practice routine? Why are they important? Thank you! :)

Well, I’ve heard trombonists play very fast, high, musical and with crazy flexibility but this is on a whole other level, several levels to exact. Just, wow…. I wonder if I bought his signature horn I could have any hope of sounding anything close to this lol. This is modern trombone playing at its finest.
