I love how Billy has to repeat what he says as though Marty actually didn't hear what he says when he says "huh?". Like it's an "are you joking?" kind of "huh?" It's a nice character touch.

Gunney gave Reacher a knife because all of his firearms were traceable and he could not afford to have the ATF chasing him if they found evidence of his involvement at the quarry. He knew that with a knife Reacher could get almost anything else. Gunney most likely picked up his brass just in case the investigators took the trouble to search the high ground. And, yes, I know it's not real!

Markie was by no means an upstanding person considering he robbed his own (previous) card game, but knowing that he wasn't involved in the latest stint, but he's still purposefully being used as a scapegoat anyway is so messed up. It really shows that mob business is something to steer clear from.

I disagree with the second half of your description, but thanks for uploading this. It's a beautiful scene. I recommend watching it again sometime. A lot of the jokes become more funny after you realise how interconnected most of them are.

This is as well blocked and shot as the trailer park shootout in the criminally underrated Miami Vice movie. You know exactly who is where at all times. Virtuoso filmmaking right here.

I am pretty certain that the one thing a sniper hates the most is having a sniper trying to kill him while he is trying to kill someone. But one problem I have with the scene is that a sniper shooting at night from such sort distances would have a large suppressor on his rifle. Not so much so he could not be heard, the other shooters shooting would take care of that, but to prevent the muzzle flash from giving away his position.

I really wish he'd got a shot at playing Iron man even for a moment. Too bad Marvel just doesn't care enough to make anything other than a commercial for the next project which leaves little reason for a big star to come in and play a character.
