He's special. Possibly the most special I've ever seen/heard. This song is the most powerful. Think about the lyrics, the back and forth between the two. And when she says "no you're just afraid". It's like he's tumbling into a hole.. further and further down he falls... And hey! You do not need to be qualified in any way to be able to express how his music makes you feel. Just get it out :)

❤❤First; i truly appreciate your kind words and appreciate your character; you are both wonderful human beings, and it is noticed and appreciated. I love the chemistry between you girls, that often only comes from family. As I've said, since pretty much the first time i found the channel; you create the best vibe on YT! ❤ This will show my age and is silly.. but i never watched YT on the computer; I always watch on my 📺 and in my era TV was king. So when you gave me the shout out.. in this old mans mind it was as if I was watching the J... Ohh, i almost said the Johnny Carson show; but then i realized as young as you both are, i can't say with 100% confidence that you know who he is 😂😊 so i'll say say if i was watching John Stewarts show; and he stopped to say "hey how are you? Want you to know your appreciated. ❤😂😂 so you girls made this old mans day. Smiled all the way through. ❤ It is interesting that Charlie talked about starting a new career.. because that is basically what Asaf did. He became a self taught musician at 26 years old. As i undertand it (and Asaf community help me out if I'm wrong.) Asaf had a successful career in film and animation but he had a painful break up from a long relationship. He felt he needed a way to express his emotions. He decided to teach himself the guitar and he felt music could be that outlet he was searching for. He decided to change careers and become a musician. I heard one reactor say he felt Asaf may not be with us if he didn't have music to express himself. It's so true; he really pours his soul into every cord, every note, every lyric. He makes you FEEL HIS MUSIC ❤ he is a thoughtful, sensitive soul, and music is his outlet. i think its why I'm such a fan of him and Ren and Harry Mack; to me, they all have such great charter, and they all don't just play music. Music is their oxygen.❤ This song reminds me of a brief relationship I had she was a coworker and a bit older than me and much more experienced than me in relationships; i was still pretty naive and new to love. We had hit it off at work, got along well, and the friendship blossomed into a romance. Ohh i was head over heels; i thought that i had found the soul mate you always hear about in the movies. I was on cloud 9. She quickly realized that we were not on the same page.. she sat me down and ended things.. told me it was for the best and didn't want to hurt me. I was confused and like Asaf here i began to try and explain why she was wrong and how we were great together and as the conversation progressed it was more like, i was pleading with her; convinced in my naive mind that this would end my whole existence. But the more i pointed out our connection, the more points she would bring forward for why it wouldn't work. For a week, i had to come to work and pretend like i wasn't devastated. Couldn't sleep; finally quit the job; had to get away. During that time, what i experienced was like what how I interpret the end of that song. After pouring out my heart as a desperate attempt to keep the relationship going; only to find that her view of our relationship and my view were miles apart.. to declare your love for her only to be told i didn't understand and that this was to help me. You feel gutted, i am sure just about everyone can relate to this one.. only years later, did i look back on it and realized that she actually was really mature about it and actually had things progressed. It would likely have the same results eventually, and it would have hurt more. She did the right thing.. but at that moment, my mind couldn't grasp how i could pour out my heart, and she still rejected it. The primal scream into the guitar to me is an expression of that combination of confusion, frustration, and pain. The end has everything become chaotic, and that was how i felt for far more time than i should have after she sat me down for that conversation. We all hope we don't find ourselves in this situation in love with someone who doesn't love us back. She is saying to him, "You're my chains. She feels restricted.. he responds back that she has it all wrong. He is her anchor, and he helps give her stability like an anchor does. He tells her YOU'RE MY DREAM❤ she says I'm just your Wish.. every attempt to justify the relationship she shuts down.. that ending is a brilliant way to express the emotions that come when you find out that it wasn't what you thought it was. Another great reaction; when Charlie said there were 4 minutes left; what could happen? I thought, if we gave her 10,000 guesses, she still wouldn't guess what was coming. 😂😂❤ and that is the pure creativity of his artistic expression. ❤ The live performance i recommend is different than the first two you've seen. He is on stage with a band, and it is just as mesmerizing. It is the song that put him on the scene a big hit in Europe. I find it oddly uplifting. Asafs music, especially Reckoning song and his song Lost Horse, has taught me in my shall we say advanced age, how to deal with loss. In some ways, these are almost therapeutic, his raw emotions combined with his poetic lyrics, full of metaphors and passion. I loved every minute of this one; you made my day.❤ i am so glad you guys enjoyed it. It is a lot to take in for a first view. You are not the only ones to be left speechless. I didn't follow the ending at first, but the Asaf community is very helpful.. it can be interpreted in different ways, but i will leave that to them to explain. I have met wonderful people as I have begun my Asaf journey. Rinat.N, who im sure will comment here soon. She is from Israel, and she actually helped convince Asaf and his team to lighten up the copyright restrictions for reaction channels as a way to get his music in front of more people. She does a lot to promote this brilliant artist. Up2ngd has created a YT channel dedicated to Sharing Asaf Avidian Artistry. I think the passion of the Asaf community nearly matches the passion that he sings with; they are incredible. Best Vibe on YT❤ Great chemistry, and as usual, the cutting room floor was pure gold! 😂😂❤ plus, you gave me my 15 seconds 😃 😊 ❤😂😂 Now, with all that said.. enough is enough. Shut It Down with the same abrupt ending as this song; Shut it Down ❤❤

Genius! “5 syllables, I bleed for music”… I bleed for music is 5 syllables. “4 syllables, it feed me though”… it fed me though is 4 syllables. “3 syllables, it saved me”… it saved me is 3 syllables. “2 syllables, crazy”… crazy is 2 syllables “1 syllable, go”…you get the picture!

Hi! I had recommended 900 days. Thank you for checking it out! Both of your reactions made me smile ear to ear & I'm glad you both enjoyed it! I enjoyed this reaction as well. Had me crackin up! Asaf is one of those where his versatility & creativity is off the charts. I can answer some of your questions being a producer/multi-instrumentalist myself. It's one of the reasons I love Ren & Asaf as I love fusing & doing many, many genres. Good music is good music. :) As to your questions, he has an acoustic pickup in the guitar to pick up the sound. It's probably monophonic as they are very susceptible to outside noise, which he's using to create that effect by screaming into it. Screaming into the body of the guitar acts like a natural amplifier & "cave" also creating reverb naturally, adding to the effect. Just speak into the sound hole of your guitar if it is an acoustic & you'll see what I mean. Sing high into it, sing low, you'll hear different fun & interesting sounds! The pickup also allows him to send a signal to his pedals, one being a synthesizer pedal which converts the audio/pitch from the pick-up, to the selected "synth" sound. When he puts the guitar on his lap, that is lap steel guitar style. A famous & classic example you might have heard already, also my favorite, is Sleepwalk by Santo & Johnny. I'd listen to the album version, if you check it out as sound from live recording's back then wasn't great. It's a very old song but if you like the lap steel sound, you'll like that. Fake plastic or metal fingernails can be used, for the picking hand, as it helps with playing. Might be right up your alley Charlie! Hopefully that helps & if you have any other questions, ask away. I'd be happy to answer. Great job on the reaction, both of you! I look forward to your next one! 😄

Hello ladies! That was the most entertaining reaction I've seen in a long time. First of all, he is very, very fine! Lol. When I first found his music, I was completely in love-like desperate, teenage, life-and-death love.🤍 As to the location, Asaf stayed in each location alone (except for the film crew), disconnecting from the outside world to fully immerse himself in the setting for 48 hours to record the In A Box sessions I, II, and III. The idea behind the project was to isolate himself in unique environments that would influence both the performance and the emotional depth of the recordings. During the 48 hours, he performed and recorded multiple stripped-down versions of his songs, adapting them to the acoustic qualities of the space. The project focused on authenticity, capturing the imperfections and unique sonic textures of each environment. This intense, immersive process was part of what made In A Box so special (it wasn't just about recording music) but about experiencing it in a completely different way, influenced by the environment. Now for that ending...... Much of Asaf's music is designed to interpret into your own story. Some interpret it as a release, a breaking point where all the bottled-up emotions explode. Others see it as a collapse-giving in to the weight of sorrow. Regardless of how it is interpreted, I think everyone can agree that it embodies the sheer agony of emotional devastation, making it one of the most haunting endings in Asaf Avidan’s music. So instead of ending with a controlled melody, Asaf lets go completely, allowing his emotions to spill out in a raw, unrestrained way. It’s as if words are no longer enough. Those emotions are REAL, who else can put all that into music? Not many! Cant wait for the next reaction !

Ohh.. what are you girls doing to this old man... 😢 on your last Taylor swift I Pointed out it was great because my nieces love her, have gone to her concerts ect.. but they never say, listen to this song.. they are just always talking about what a great person she is.. so I figured; cool this gives me a chance to get familiar with her music.. I will watch the Slice Gitrls, they'll get me some additional insight too.. what I never expected was to get my heart sliced and diced.. Wow.. you could really feel the emotions from both performers. It was a nice song; but hit home.. communication was what unfolded my marriage.. never was what I wanted.. but it seemed we were on different pages, much like this song says.. as things unravel and like the song. I thought things were OK, she felt she had given me plenty of signals. One I will share that.. I now realize I was a idiot.. for dinner she would ask what I wanted.. I would always say, anything is fine. In my mind I thought this was nice of me.. no pressure on her... but no... one day same as always but she throws a pot down and says she can't take it anymore!! I am stunned and baffled.. what? But she says you always put all the pressure on me!! Again I am confused.. ask how is that pressure? But.. and damn.. she was right.. the other part that I never even thought about was.. often she would follow up my response with how bout.. this or that.. and at times i would then say.. no, had that a couple days ago or you know something to that effect. Well, that is not.. I am fine with whatever.. like in my pee brain I thought I was doing.. instead it's more like.. I won't tell you.. you now have to guess.. therefore putting a lot of unnecessary pressure on her.. I swear to God.. I had good intentions and in my own mind didn't see anything wrong with that approach to the question. In my mind in fact I thought I was being nice. . Ohhh.. man.. idiot.. and this song just dug up all those things I wish I had done differently.. you guys got me.. 😢 😂😂😂 all of life is a lesson.. sometimes you learn the hard way.. that didn't end things, there were circumstances beyond either of our contols.. thar sent life into a spiral and we are still good friends and love each other.. in fact legally it's just separated but she bow lives in another country.. so makes the thought of reconciliation non exitent.. been a long time. But I have finally fully accepted it all.. recognized my part.. finally recently forgave myself for my part.. ❤ don't know why I just over shared there.. I blame Taylor Swift!! 😂😂😂 another great reaction.. and always the cutting room floor was Golden!! ❤ now.. please shut it down! ❤

Sending 🖤 Sam! So now that you’ve gone down the Taylor rabbit hole with us and have followed her lyrics… safe to say you’re a swiftie now?! 😊. Oh, and check out our most recent video 🙂.
@SamSnips18 сағат бұрын
@SliceGirlsReact 🤔 well I can say this for sure.. I am far closer to being a Swifty then I ever imagined I would be.. I gotta tell ya, when my niece went to her concert; watching her describe it.. I swear she was glowing.. and again she basically didn't even mention the music.. she just raved on and on about the atmosphere and the powerful sense of love and unity that she felt at that concert. ❤️ I have also been very impressed about her stand for the oppressed and I learned from my niece how she have all the people who work for her tour huge bonus checks. She is just a first class human being and I definitely love that about her for sure. She seems down to earth and genuine.. and for one of the biggest stars in the world... That.. THAT IS RARE AND BEAUTIFUL. Am I a Swify? After typing this I just got even closer.. I will leave it at this.. I am a work in progress and I can feel I'm leaning in that direction. Perhaps the next song will push me over.. you never know. Truly love the channel ❤️.. to bad you gotta Shut it down 😉 ❤️ P.S. and I am sorry to do this.. but the suspence is killing me. Are you considering doing the Harry Mack request? I know it's long.. but I really believe you will love it.. I left a reply under it kinda breaking down how it works.. if that helps.. and ultimately if it's not a option I would enjoy if you went with another Asaf Avidian song called Reckoning Song (Live from Acropolis) it's a bit long too.. but its because just before the final verse he tells the story of what inspired the song.. and honestly it's really good 👍.. I actually changed my mind.. leave me in suspense.. you choose.. I will say if you go with Harry I will likely tip again for Asaf.. If Bribing helps 😆 🤣 😂 no.. I will be happy either way.. just happier with.. well you know.. 😊 while I am at it.. Also curious if you ever saw my movie recommendation of the documentary called Horror in the High Desert. Based on your reaction to the ghost video.. not recalling the name.. but I thought you would like it.. and there are follow ups to it too. Not necessarily for a reaction.. just on your own time.. I described it in a previous comment awhile back. Basically a Real life - Blair Witch project.. found footage is amazing.. it has a bit of a slow build up.. but the found footage reveal is crazy.. I know you guys will enjoy it. If you can let me know about the film.. but leave me in the dark on the reaction request.. it will make it cooler when the day comes. I am sure you all have many requests, so no rush.. I am patient.. not going away from the best Vibe on YT! ❤️ sorry about the novel.
