The point of this is to have fuel for later when you may noy be able to rely on your main fire anymore. Making charcoal like this is a smart thing to do . Aleays be prepared. Yall complaining about how much wood heused to make it should take back andyink if the guy is out there he probably had a camp fire built. Itsnot wasting atthat point but planning ahead

I poured alcohol. He soaked the coal and it turned out to be an excellent fuel.
