I did a 13 months backpacking trip around the world for about 23k in 2011. I paid 1400 bucks for flights from Lax > Quito, Buenos Aires > Cape town, Nairobi > Cairo, Cairo > Athens. I booked on a world traveling site. I then booked the rest of the flights on my own. Lots of buses and trains. I spent 3 months in South America: Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Highlights: Galapagos, Machu Picchu, Hiking Patagonia, Salar de Uyuni, Iguazu Falls, Perito Moreno 3 Months in Africa: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Egypt (and a jaunt to Jordan) Highlights were: Sand dunes in Namibia, Safari in Tanzania during the great migration, all of the ruins in Egypt, Petra, biking next to giraffes Did 3 months in Europe: Greece, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Amsterdam, England, France, Wales. Highlights was Oktoberfest, train travel, Florence is a the most beautiful city every, beaches of Normandy, all the history and the easy train travel. 3 months in southeast asian: Thailand (saw family), Vietnam, Cambodia Highlights: All of Thailand especially the islands. Koh Tao is awesome. Food in Vietnam and Ha Long Bay, Angkor Wat. 1 month in New Zealand. This place is paradise. Cheers.

I was on a Fam trip to Hawaii (lingo for a travel agents familiarization tour). We were scheduled to fly from Honolulu to Kawaii. Not long after takeoff we encountered bad weather. The plane was bouncing back and forth lightening heavy rain. All 30 of us guys and girls were becoming very scared. The captain said that we were returning to Honolulu. We'll to our shock we landed only to find out that the airport had closed due to very bad weather. Most of us wanted to go back home stateside. Poor Hawaii tourist board had to find hotel rooms for 30 people. The hotel they found was awful. TG l have had 2 wonderful trips Maui and Honolulu. Good memories.

We go to Vegas for a volleyball tournament. How should we go about getting an upgrade when we were forced to purchase our room stays as a group? Stay and play programs. Or how to ask for a room with mini fridge coffee maker extra fans for sleeping? Because the basic double bed options don’t have those items and we need to keep the Gatorade and food cold. Love your suggestions.

The food and everything about this resort are spectacular. The seaweed has nothing to do with the hotel, it’s because of people in the world! Pools are not brown! They are dark due to the dark tile! This is an amazing g resort!

Ehat wiuld you recommend,Grand hyatt Kauai or Andaz for a week, taking into account the sland stoo?
@TheTravelLane3 ай бұрын
GH is a nice large family-friendly resort but is not true luxury tier. Andaz is a smaller and more luxury-focused resort. It really depends on what type of vibe you want and what island you are interested in. We really enjoyed both. Andaz for luxury, GH for "fun"

My only criticism on the seating is that I felt like I had nowhere within arms reach to put my items. There's a tiny net on the armrest to your side which is helpful, but also dangerous because if something falls out it's going to fall in the crack between the seat and the armrest and will be impossible to find. There's another small net by the footrest, and I have no idea what the purpose of that one is. I found myself fumbling around trying to find a place for my phone, chargers, etc and often just ended up putting it on the middle section.

I'm confused. You state this is a review of HA first class but show a seating plan for where you're sitting that is listed as business class on the plan. If that isn't confusing enough, a recent review in a local Australian newspaper of a flight from Sydney to Hawaii on HA A330 states it's a review of their business class, but all the HA seating plans I googled have this same plan listed as first class. Does that mean HA use the terms first and business interchangeably?
@JWB6714 ай бұрын
I think all the HA a330 planes are 1. First/Business, 2. Premium economy, 3. Economy.
@greggraham35344 ай бұрын
OK, so it's a class that is called both business and first. Makes no sense. @@JWB671
@WilliamMurphy-uv9pm3 ай бұрын
Many airlines used business and first class interchangeably. That is changing now. Used to be synonymous. But, some airlines flying internationally had four clases of service on 777-300ER aircraft for example: first class (a couple of rows way up front), business class, premium economy, and coach/economy.

You are an ass. “cattle class?” Clearly you are not deserving of first class treatment.
