I’ve had this replaced three times by mechanics. Each time it didn’t fix the problem. It was like they didn’t know what they were doing. I don’t know if it’s complicated but it’s really frustrating.

@@Holyhappiness you always have the option to work on your own car. If you feel the people you are hiring are not doing a good job then do it yourself or hire someone better

good one mate, one question do you recommend putting Solid State relay, with PWM so that the fuel pump wont be overheated when parked or make it last longer?

OEM pumps are 300 plus, 100 or so on amazon or other parts places. Shop rates are 25 to 200 per hour. Your rates will vary depending on where you live. I think this job is 1 hour. Our shop we go to is really cheap, yet this is because its a coop that serves more than just auto repairs. Their guy is a certified mechanic so he gets paid regardless if there is something for him to do.

Here in the UK We get a few JDM V35 Skylines, in 4dr 2.5 auto, that were brought over as cheap normie cars. We also have a lot of very rusty 350z. Instead of turboing my e46, I’d love to 3.5 6sp swap a V35 with the GT Rays, Brembos & Bose sounds. I’m also on the minority that loves the sound of an NA VQ.

Hey can you do this to 06 sedan one was a g35s manual new one 06 g35 auto I have the old motor and tranny and ecu and harness clutch pedal and all but one car was key and new car keyless will that be a problem with turning over the car

Great video! Would it be possible to mount the prop valve to the left of the booster rather than the top? If I were to modify bracket and make a new hard line? Just think it would give it cleaner look. Please let me know, I’m interested in this kit!

I have a 2016 Hyundai Tucson with a 2.0L 4cyl. When I feel my tank the fuel gauge stops before the full line.?. What’s maybe causing it.?.

Probably much cheaper to do this fix, but I would save my pennies for a Radium hanger and bulkhead harness.

@FullDetailAutomotive what about if I want to run dual pumps? End goal is as close to 500-600whp. Radium is enticing, but if I can save cash running dual wally 450's I'd rather do your style. Was considering doing -8an lined but, no real information on the subject. Everyone just jumps to buying radium.

Do you still have the superpro bushings on? If so, any squeaks. I dialy an FD3 I was thinking of getting those but I don't want to keep taking my car apart to lubricate them. I'm kind of leaning towards rubber.

On my FD back to back same car seq to non-seq I lost at least 500rpm boost response, however picked up a good 30rwkw when it did come on boost. Hit boost so much harder. As my twins were acting up it was a simple cheap fix with consistent performance.

It just happened to me this morning i was like damn they got me . But then the gas gauge started coming back to full 😂

We found out 6 plus months ago that the gauge was broken when the car died on the way to work for my wife. Ever since then she has been using miles to read the intermittent gauge. I got a whole new pump and going to have our shop replace it. One of the thing that I have read on reviews is that the sending unit fails even when new.

Thanks, I am considering purchasing this vehicle and first thing that came up was the guage wasnt working. When i took a second test drive, the guage worked but it took a bit for the fuel level to climb. They claimed it was the sensor, but watching your video has me thinking it may need a new pump entirely(?)
